Gill-man is Captain Paul. 2018: Why is non-rawking, non-raw John Lennon music less respected?Too often I’ve seen around here and in reviews like these: 'Double' DisappointmentThat non-rawking, non-raw John Lennon music is somehow lesser John Lennon music. Why is that? Why do some have such a block against a non-Plastic Ono Band type Lennon music? Imagine, Mind Games, and Walls and Bridges songs are only given the time of day in their “raw” demo/outtake form and some prefer Milk & Honey to Double Fantasy due to the songs being rawer. Why is there such a narrow view of what Lennon songs should be? Now: Why do people have a problem with John Lennon solo songs with full production? It’s a common belief around here that John Lennon solo songs are better with a stripped down, raw production. Any songs or albums with a fully dressed production like Walls and Bridges and Double Fantasy are seen as overly slick or over produced. Has everyone forgotten his Beatles songs? No one seems to have a problem with the full production on them. Is it that fans only want the raw, rawker John Lennon and not the fully rounded musician John Lennon?

He's so easy to spot because his obsessions are always the same. He loves the Monkees, '80s KISS, power ballads, ABBA...hates Led Zeppelin and is really angry about classic rock in general despite only listening to old music himself. And he always gets really angry about people supposedly slighting pop music or pop production...
and stuff like this from that Lennon thread...
That's classic Spaceman. If you see someone saying stuff like that you just check if they like Michael Bolton and Lick it Up. and if so..that's the guy. lol

Turns out it's actually 'The' Spaceman forums.stevehoffman.tv/search/81332961/I thought BusNoise was him at first because they definitely love same of the stuff. But BusNoise has a bit of a different style, and he talks a lot about music theory and stuff the Spaceman never gets into. Still, there's the Bolton and Paul Stanley thing..so I went back and forth on it but after a while I decided it's a different wacko and not him. and I have to admit that I love With a Little Luck and the London Town album in general.

Yeah I don't ever really listen to it but I do have a sentimental attachment to Wings and that album. Looking at the tracklist now I'm not sure I know what some of the songs even sound like but I do definitely love some of the songs on it a lot. I think I'm Carrying is one of his best songs ever.
