Lol, it's integral to their sound.

The dreadful Tool still exist? Why? Ours is not to reason why. The great 12" Tool ever finds it's way into the cavity.

I really like Lateralus and Aenima a lot. But 10,000 Days was mostly treading water. I downloaded the new album last night from RUTracker and it put me to sleep. They've become the AC/DC of alt metal or prog metal or whatever they're supposed to be.

Of course, Tool came up in conversation early on and when I professed I hadn’t heard much of their stuff, it became a bunch of him playing me the various stuff. He was a nice guy, so I didn’t have he heart to tell him it all sounded the same to me, and pretty boring at that.

Listening to it now. Not a huge fan as their stuff is a bit too emotionless for me. It certainly sounds good though. Not sure what these assholes are bitching about.

If they aren't complaining about something, then what are they actually going to do? Enjoy their music systems?
Who does that?

Tool. Never has there been a more appropriate band name.

I like them, to be fair but I'm a rational human being so I don't obsess over bands or fucking 'sound quality'. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the sound of the new Tool album (if you like Tool!)

No standard CD and clipping, to boot? Doesn't matter if I like it, I have to have something to fondle. And those waveforms -- I cannot get past it.
I'll pass. Back to Aja for me.

Its funny watching SHiTes convince themselves a scathing 5.4 Pitchfork review of the new album is not that bad. If it is a scale of 1 to 10, then 5 must be average, so the new album is above average. I mean Tool does its thing, so does Pitchfork. Not particularly a fan of either, but the insecurity of music fans at Hoofy's is always good for a laugh.
