My concept for a Beatles Anthology Super Deluxe Edition: 1. CD1 - CD6 - To include all tracks remastered, and several presented in new mixes where obvious improvements can be made (do away with all the early 80s Sessions mixes for example). 2. Bonus CD7 - To include 10-12 bonus session tracks from the 1960s (Revolution Take 20, Something rehearsal with long jam ending, Across the Universe "Hums Wild", "Carnival of Light", etc.) 3. Bonus CD8 - To include brand new Giles mixes of "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love" (using better sources of the Lennon demos for vocals), the six original FAAB and RL non-album b-sides, a few of the Threetles jams, and finally a completed "Now and Then." 4. Bluray 1-2 - All audio in hi-res, etc. So 10 Discs total. 5. Booklet/liners 6. Anthology collage poster. *Sell the video separate as a stand alone Blu-Ray set, and debut the Beatles Anthology on a video streaming service. *Sell a reissue of the big book separate.

The one live George show I'm shocked never happened was a Wilburys show. One concert, in LA? How did they not pull that off. Could have been for charity. Maybe it was one of those things they thought "we'll get around to it someday" but then Roy died, and Bob seemed to lose interest, so that was that. Still, a Live Wilburys album in 1991/92 could have been amazing, even without Roy—Maybe even with Ringo and some of the Heartbreakers in the backing band.

Only 10 discs? I refuse to deal with it unless it is at least 60 discs. Also, Giles should fly in a TR-808 that replaces all drum tracks on every Beatles recording — just to piss off the SHite Beatards. Giles should also fly in some dope raps by today's leading rappers onto every Beatles track. Modernized thusly, the original masters could be destroyed with a clear conscience.

They should finally release the long-buried tapes recorded with Clarence Walker.

Is it wrong that I’m legit waiting for this? It’ll be awful, but it’ll be worthwhile just to see everyone over there absolutely Lose. Their. Shit.

If Giles could also program the TR-808 to only play that one drum fill Pete Best did, that would be exceptional entertainment.

That is what is always entertaining about any Beatles reissue. The SHites first create a 400 page thread anticipating the release, then follow it with 600 pages of "mine shipped" *but the top right corner of the box was dented by Amazon Germany so that some of the ossuary was crushed and I got a discount for keeping it instead of shipping it back* posts. Then they start bitching about how much they hate it *and want the bonus remixed remaster mixes disc remastered by Stephen Wilson in 5.1 alternative mixes*. That in turn spins off into a thousand new redundant bitchfest threads concerning the release in question over the next decade. fify

I feel we need a greatly expanded Anthology series. Each double album should itself be doubled. The first collection could easily contain another 5 or 6 of these tracks - the remainders could be stand alone whatevers.

I'll take 15 LPs that I'll never listen to again, preferably in some kind of slightly damaged shipping box that I can complain online about.
