We all know the death of Eric Carr in 1991 is a tragedy on the same level as the Holocaust and the black plague.... what would've happened to Kiss if Mark David Chapman had left that washed up husband of Yoko Ono alone and taken his obsession to the most talented member of Kiss?

Gene Simmons would have sold little pieces of his skin for $100 each.

I’m pretty certain BusNoise has written the overly-fawning Wikipedia entry on Eric Carr.

To think... a Carr assassination would've meant no Hot In The Shade, the greatest album in all mankind

To think... a Carr assassination would've meant no Hot In The Shade, the greatest album in all mankind Well, to be fair...HITS was better than Crazy Nights, which may actually be the absolute nadir of all KISS albums. Which makes it high on the list of worst albums, period.

Imagine unironically playing an entire Kiss album.

Imagine unironically playing an entire Kiss album. Is that even possible?

The answer is easy! Gene is a cheap insensitive prick. He’d purchase this: A 1972 Univox Analog Drum Machine. “Rock #1 drum pattern” would be used for ALL the Kiss songs on The Unmasked Tour. Now Gene sticks his junk into anything, therefore would be flinging it up with Yoko. She then would convince John that: “he needed to get out of the house more often”. Therefore, John would have gone on tour with Kiss. His Job would be; “push button to START and STOP the drum machine”.
