I want to here more about that neat minty WW1 era Colts' Army issue M1911 auto. Here's a photo from STeVE's rare cool basement safe.
Does this recording have the famed “breath of life” or the “whiff of death”?

Wonder if Steve’s Mum had ‘PIG’ written in dust in her car?

The thesis of the film is that Manson's failure to get a record deal to finance his lifestyle from his contacts in the music business led to his mental collapse that resulted in the crime spree.
The list of prominent people who reportedly hung out with his "family" includes Stephen Stills, Glen Campbell, Neil Diamond...and Steve Hoffman (allegedly.....) Neil Young was said to be so "blown away" by Charlie, he bought him a motorcycle & took him to meet Mo Ostin at Warner's.

Did STeVE also beat up Bruce Lee? Jesus. Why didn't he just make his life ACTUALLY interesting???

I don't think Skeev thinks this stuff through, though. He's pathological.

He picked up a couple of the Manson skanks when they were hitchhiking and took them back to his place for "milk and cookies." Not long aferward Dennis came home one day and Manson and his lowlifes were in his house. Dennis used to call him "the wizard." Dennis even took them over to Brian Wilson's house to the home studio to record some stuff, which Brian supposedly destroyed. While they were recording the Manson skanks swam in the family pool. Maybe Steve was there giving Brian some important studio tips.

I just keep picturing the cover of Helter Stelter with Steev on the cover. Instead of Manson a picture of STeVe spaced out, forehead tat and all.

Not to go too far down the SHiTEy road, but Steve Desper (an actual talented engineer) worked those sessions and says the tapes still exist in the Brother Records archive. His memory is sometimes slightly off (which seems to be a trait of anyone working with The Beach Boys) but his account of that time is very believable and engrossing.

I’m guessing STeVe acted as a consultant with his long history and association with Charlie and “Squeeks” ... Is Steve dying and going through his old wank folder?
