I mean what other explanation for this irredeemable tardiness could there be? I mean is there some kind of plague goin' on?!?!!??
Oh wait.

"ALERT! The Official PM UK Store are making refunds for the Spotify LPs under the excuse that courier was not able to deliver. Its happening to many people, including me. They are lying. I have made a new thread on this issue. If you have the same problem please post on that thread." Wolrus, Yesterday at 9:42 PM Henrik Jutbring and mikecarrera like this.
Classic, that's cheered me up.

The McCartney III distribution is a Soros scheme.

CD super deluxe currently £45 at Rarewaves. Browse the site for a few moments and a pop-up should appear for a further 10% off for new customers, making it just over £40.
BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD ANNIVERSARY (BOX) (WBR) CD
This is still available at this price, but a word of warning. I ordered on 27 December, got the despatch notice on 29 December. On 7 January it hadn't turned up and the order status on the website said they were still preparing my order, so I emailed them to confirm it had actually been sent. They apologised and said they'd send another copy. It finally arrived today (not sure if it's the original or the replacement), sent in nothing but a polythene mailer. Miraculously, it's pretty much undamaged, but they literally might as well have just stuck an address label on the shrink wrap.
So while it is a bargain price, prepare for an anxious couple of weeks if you do decide to order it from here. Phil Tate, Today at 5:07 AM

I dunno. Putting Abbey Road in a polythene mailer sounds to me like a nerd's tribute gesture -- a cheeky winky embrace from one Beatard to a fellow Beatard; said gesture intended to leave the recipient Beatard (the bottom Beatard) quite chuffed. Smear it in mustard and semen, and I’d appreciate the gesture.

More McCartney III mirth:
"I'm not having a great experience with the UK store. I received a very damaged Spotify version a few weeks back, so submitted a request through their website contact form. Someone emailed me back saying I could either send back for a full refund or keep the record and be refunded 30% (!). I replied to the email saying I wanted a full refund, but then heard nothing else. So I submitted another request through the website contact form a few days back saying I want a refund, and I'm still waiting...." glenscott, Yesterday at 3:14 AM
Wolrus said: ↑ I preordered the McCartney III SPOTIFY Lp on day one. Then, on December 31, I received a shipping confirmation email from the official PM UK store (LIE 1!!). Yesterday, and only 12 days after shipment from UK to Spain, i was refunded under the excuse "item was returned to our warehouse because courier could not deliver it to you" (LIE 2!!). I was at home every day at every hour in these 12 days, so I complained and asked them to send again. The store reply was "sorry but we can not do anything about it as item is sold out". I was told that i could only buy it again when avaiable in the store. This was sold out on October! Why you don't call me or contact me first? I thought, well, **** happens...But it was not only me...
I have spoken to other people (15 different buyers by now) who had experienced exactly the same situation with this Spotify LP: Same fake shipping dates, plus all of us being refunded exactly same day under same lies and excuses by the Official PM UK Store.
It looks like as part of a plan. They wanted a number 1 album at any price, even if they had to lie to loyal fans: "We will send a shipping confirmation and then after 12 days we will issue a refund because the Lp could not be delivered". Easy. Those would counts as sales too. They sold more preorders than records pressed only to get a number one album. Sad but true.
I am very, very upset. I could expect this from some ebay scammer but from the official store of Sir Paul McCartney? We should do something about it. Complain to MPL maybe? How many of you are in the middle of this mess? Click to expand... MPL don't respond. Tried it already.
"This whole fiasco has soiled the enjoyment of the album. Wonder if there is a possibility that there could an investigation into possible fraud in terms of McCartney's people deceiving the real fans into buying the various versions just to get to number one, knowing that they would struggle to fulfill all orders? Not a conspiracy theory, as there is plenty of evidence to suggest that it is more than a possibility, whether intentional or not." Resroc62, Yesterday at 6:40 AM#152 Wolrus likes this.
"Surely McCartney and MPL have some responsibility for the McCartney Store?
Somebody is clearly lying about the lack of fulfilled orders." Resroc62, Yesterday at 10:42 AM
"Same here, I jumped on every release announcement within minutes ASAP either through this forum or e-mail from mccartney.com.
"labels are only created when the product is both in stock and ready to ship." - BULL
Has anyone else written them about this?
There's one vendor in California with 4 copies selling them for $200 each on EBAY. How does he supposedly have 4 when it was limit one per purchase? :disgust: Well, out of principle I'm not paying $200. Life goes on|||" Last edited: Yesterday at 12:23 PM Bill813, Yesterday at 12:08 PM#162

There are rumors about... something coming in the first months of 2021. It’s supposed to be related to McCartney III (maybe a deluxe edition of some sorts, or an album of remixes / covers /...).
@mrjinks had the insight.
"If this album can continue to be used to fleece the loyal fan base even further then expect it to happen. Over the past few years the team at McCartney towers have hardly hidden their desire to grab as much cash from the remaining fans as possible. The majority of original fans must now be aged about 70 and over, in a few years time the market will be so small they wont be able to make money this way, the cash cow will have dried up."
That's when the Paul McCartney/Beatles with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra type of releases will start to appear... bob60, 3 minutes ago
Yes, and Team Hoffman will buy every fucking release and then fucking moan about it.....
