And instead it's an ever-increasingly disheartening garbage dump of privileged hostility, wymyn-hating, prejudiced, phony-tuff-guy fuckwit-signaling space junk. I never read their shittiness first-hand; I could no longer bear it. I just let the more courageous/patient tell me the worst of it and I try to deal with it second-hand. But that fucking forum, its mouldy denizens and Their Host's anti-career arc have really taken a toll on my love for music. And I hate them for it. How has it taken its toll on your love for music? Because it's like being in high school again. You can't just like what you like and be happy with it. No, you can't like THAT album. You have to like THIS song, THAT era, an artist can have 30 albums in their discography, but you're only allowed to like albums 3-6 and that's it. My opinion is fact and your fact is bullshit. And for those of us who play instruments also, you have to be able to play every song perfectly, note for note, or you're some kind of shitty rookie, and I play better than you. And then there's the nazis and MAGAts. And, as noted above, stEve'S "I wuz there. Neat!" bullshit. When I found that forum back 8 or 9 years ago, I thought it would be great to shoot the shit about aspects of music I enjoyed. Now I'll take an album out and, for a split second, think "It's a good thing the SHites can't see this or I'd get jumped all over". Getting banned was probably the best thing that could have happened, so far as enjoying music again.

Who cares what they think? Or what WE think here? This is why I get a laugh out of people here who get bent out of shape if you poke fun at a band. Like grow the fuck up. You guys can make fun of a certain Canadian trio all you want. Won't stop me. Just like I can say Lou Reed sounds like fucking shit to me. Who cares what some 57 year old prick in Canada thinks? No one should.

Pepper isn't the best album ever. It's the fact that it's supposed to be a place for people who love music, and instead, it turns people off and poaters there get off on being pieces of shit. Around here is different, this place is designed to roast people. You know what you're walking into. Speaking of the Canadian trio we are both so fond of, I remember going into an appreciation thread and poating that my favorite album (not the one I say is the best) was Power Windows. Here they came. "Rush died for me in 1978". "That's their shittiest album". "The last good Rush album Signals. Everything else sucked". Great fuckin' place you have there, stEVe. This is a place where supposed music lovers go, eh?

Because it's like being in high school again. Perfect description of the internet. Well let's face it. StEve was the kid in high school who bragged about the vacation he took and the shoes he's got, which came out of his parents' pockets. Instead of new cars and expensive clothes, now it's minty Leicas and watches. Of course, STEVE was in high school anywhere from 1915 to 1982, so it's hard to nail it down.

When did anyone make fun of Triumph here? Now there’s a band you can make fun of. Gil Moore was a horrible drummer.
