Did I hear correctly that the bonus disc from Finding Wildflowers is getting a wider release? Because that's hilarious if true.

I don't know who this dipshit is, but he's currently ruining a Neil Young thread with his repetitive condescending arrogance. And he doesn't even know what the fuck he's talking about. He did the same fucking things for years under his John Hunter/Driver 8 guises as well. Best to just ignore...

I want to make a little reel of all the interviews I’ve heard lately with guitar players and other music people who pretty much unanimously say “and that was it, it was over”, when Nevermind came out and play it for this dumb fuck.

For reference, here is the new song. I like St Vincent. I have no issue with it. Just enjoy something for a fucking change you twat!

I'm quite sure Mr Hunter (I'm guessing "John Hunter" is Spencer's real name, though I reserve the right to be wrong there) is old enough to remember 1991 and Nirvana's impact, he's just been in fucking denial about it for the last thirty years...and having just typed "1991" and "thirty years" I feel pretty fuckin' old now!

Nirvana's impact rivals that of the Beatles. That's not a glib remark or silly hyperbole. For every 700 masturbatory liner note essays discussing how influential some bumblefuck was, there are only a handful of artists/bands that get namechecked by those that came before, their contemporaries, and those that followed (including fuckers not even born yet).
So much rock music that came after Nirvana and pretty much well into the mid-2000s had a direct lineage to Nirvana. But an even wider array of music and artists, if not just pop culture in general, was and continues to bloom from their influence.

Spencer 8 is a belligerent prick, but that St. Vincent song/video is pretty much if Prince fucked Bowie and they had a daughter (not saying that's a bad thing ).

I've said it before but the lineage is Elvis, Beatles, Pistols, Nirvana, the end.

I'll go ahead and admit it, Ron, I am a lawyer (albeit on inactive status with the Mississippi Bar at the moment) and you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about when you throw around legal terminology in this discussion.
