The funniest part is that those "relatively rare 80s vintage LPs" are probably Thriller and Born in the USA.

There is a guy on there, Talisman something, who has a similar thread about how terrible the pressings he gets are, yet he keeps buying them by the truckload. Here are the latest 10 I got today et al.

I was trolling around there the other day and some guy was complaining about in 10 or 15 years of buying vinyl online he had bought 1000s of records and 75% were unacceptable in one or another. Out of the 25% he has kept only about 10% meets his approval, the rest he had to keep because the seller said he returned too many already. Then why continue to buy if you have that much contempt and problems with new records??

No more inner sleeve worries. Yeah, but wouldn't you be a bit concerned about the inner groove distortion?

The only thing that's now good for is having a shit in - which is one use more than it had before.

Guy requests turntable recommendations for 60-70 dollars, as he wants to get back into vinyl. The disdain is palpable.

I'm sure the solution is that have to submit your equipment profile for approval before you're allowed to become a SHite.

SHiTes always forget that prior to about 1988 almost every fucker bought records and played them on any old shit they had lying around.
They also enjoyed them far more than most SHiTes do now.
But there has always been pointless snobbery in the hi-fi world.
I remember when I was about 18 going into a hifi shop for a replacement stylus for my shitus 2000 turntable.
The manager laughed and said they didn't stock such rubbish.
I laughed and told him he was cunt.

It's funny. Every used boomer rock record I've ever bought has had some kind wear and tear indicative of being played on a shitty turntable and definitely not being ultrasonic cleaned in baby shampoo or what the fuck ever. It's almost like the good old days of superior vinyl and everyone caring about sound quality is a fabrication.

Does the crusty jizz contribute to the infinite resolution?

Well, it certainly adds to the warm liquid mids.
