It was magically around the time their shows got 30 minutes longer as well. Bono went personal trainer from 90's onward. |

Hm. That would explain all the costume changes at Phish / Grateful Dead shows I suppose. Phish themselves are a pretty sober bunch these days. It's their audience that does all the drugs ... probably because the band's music has been so terrible for the last 25 yeats. |

Eagles Miming VideoOverall its not good news, but the thing that still surprise me is the low % of fans that care. Def LeppArd and Motley fans know and still go because its a good time. I liked my mimed Dolly show because an hour of it was banter and she now seems done with Touring minus the odd one-off. I view it like baseball fans 25 years ago who could clearly see Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire were juicing but didn't care because the media hype was fun. I watched a Celine Dion 2008 concert DVD that I found in a $2 bin recently. Maybe half live and half pretend vocals just to get through a full touring running around the stage. It did include a very big note at one part that got a much bigger reaction than the other fake notes in the show so the audience were aware on some level. Singing experts were always surprise she did a long residency an arid desert. Henley is perhaps the most litigious artist out there after Prince died and Van Morrison chilled out tiny bit. He can't let the whole song video roll. Part of the reason Henley has done this for 5 years without a GOTCHA video getting out. I can think of another unamed UK solo artist who mimes some choruses while the crews flips on the strobe light effect so no GOTCHA videos can fully work.Its possible to have a fake vocal tied to a click track - and everything else onstage is truly live plus a guitar solo can go after the final Henley verse and drummer can ignore the click for moment without a disaster. Click tracks for truly live acts used to be used for light show production being locked or musical effect that has to precise to a tempo like U2 Edge double echo guitar songs.

There's a guy on a Joan Jett FB group that swears Joan wears a wig/piece, and people in the know are adamant that it's all her own hair, just dyed. She has dyed black but adds in some weaves for thickness onstage. Female artists half her age also do it - Kasey Musgraves is open about her stage weaves on social media. Lots of famous guys have extra pieces and hair in a spray can. There's a SHF sacred cow that had spray-on sideburns(with a stencil) for a recent years full-length concert video - only hint I can give is some here have April 2024 tickets for him in California. Theres another name that could be on the fake it list but I'm a huge fan and alluded to them earlier in the thread. Very fan friendly, still does very strong albums and even his daughter's official release is decent. Some countries in the world sing the anthem in movie theaters before it starts. I did that in Thailand. The 4 oldest Kardashian kids have connection to the case via their late lawyer dad who was one of OJ lawyers. Khloe K was asked point blank if OJ did it on a Corden segment a few years ago and refused to answer. Im not sure what to make of 3 of his kids being connected to the restaurant industry.
