PretzelLogic would’ve been first inline to mourn McCartney’s (aka Spacca) death in the 60s by that logic, no questions asked, Paul’s dead. Certainly sounded like it on The Frog Chorus (which I happen to consider his signature song)

Well, if I haven't already made it clear that I have no use for the Moodys (the bourgeois man's Barclay James Harvest), I suppose this will...
For a moment, I was tempted to ridicule john lennonist's horrible poetry, which I assumed he wrote in grief and therefore might be forgivable. But then I thought, what kind of sap would write a poem in a tribute thread? Then, I was reminded that SHites have no creative impulse; it would be impossible for one of them to compose his own poem, no matter how bad.
So, then I got the bonechilling thought that it might not be a tearful blurt of unschooled-but-sincere poetry after all, but that it might actually be a lyric to one of their dreary, vapid songs... Google then confirmed this.
So that's the kind of stuff that got them into the Rock Hall of Fame, eh? "Wish I could be in your eyes" indeed. Like smog particulates.
Well, R.I.P. anyway, Ray Thomas. What instrument did he play? Was he the Moodys guitar shredder? Was he the frenetic basher behind the Moodys drum kit? Was he responsible for the Moody's sinewy, funky bass sound? Oh, a flautist you say? Whew, at least that shouldn't interfere too much with their next cruise ship gig. You can play a flute with a synth.

Not sure why PretzelLogic is having a go at poor little Edwin requesting confirmation that he is well and truly dead. In every other fucker of a RIP thread one or more morons ask that very question. I thought it was part of the forum rules that any death thread must have at least one SHite questioning the validity of it.
Anyway my favourite quote so far is:
"It’s insensitive and inappropriate to question the veracity of a genuine report when everyone else is mourning the death of someone they admire."
What form does this mourning take - Poating RIP or making up a bit of shit poetry like Richierichie did :
Ray, you were a Man of Peace,
A Man of Love,
A Man of Music,
Ray, may you travel the Astral Plane with Peace. Love & Music.
Or are they going into work tomorrow and requesting a week's compassionate leave to cope with the loss of a great musician nobody really knew anything about.
Unless you are family or a close friend or he inserted his flute into one of your sexual organs I fail to see how this can promote such a strong grief reaction.
On a sadder note none of us scored any points in the Death Pool

He has a footer on his description that says 'I hate the Beatles', which I guess is a normal reaction to being in SHiteville for some time but then, he's populating all kinds of Beatles threads and seems quite the Beatard himself.

Hmmm. His poats in the death thread have now been gorted.
He is a strange one. He appears to like The Fall and Arab Strap but spends a lot of time poating about Fleetwood Mac and similar ilk and his forum name is a Steely Fuckin Dan album. Maybe Antiram could do some of his forensic detective work on him.
