Changing the subject real quick.. does anyone remembers the post some crazy guy did in a GH related thread (maybe around 5 years ago), that he writes a huge text slamming Dhani, saying crazy stuff like "IF BIG BOY DHANI DOESN'T WANT A ZEPPELIN REUNION, WE WON´T GET IT." Man.. hilarious stuff. I've been searching for that forever. But the only thing I remember clearly is that he combined Led Zeppelin reunion with Dhani Harrison:crazy::biglaugh: Please remember. It was Dhani Harrison that said the George archives were incredible. His actual wording was ' you wouldn't believe what's in the archive ' astounding contents. He went on to say it was mean nasty EMIs fault. I believe he called them bast*#ds. EMI doesn't own the company anymore. It's been 7 more years since those comments. He says he doesn't have time, he says it's all EMIs fault. Blablabla. Obviously hire an archivist. By the doesn't want too. He's going home with his ball & Jacks. It's his. His ego his inheritance. He thinks he's a peer of musical giants. The only reasons people give him the time of day is because his dad was a Beatle & he's a billionaire. Almost nobody wants to listen to Dhani Harrison's unsuccessful music. So he'll have the last laugh. Take his ball & Jacks & go back to his castle. This is why they can't simply hire a curator. Cause big Dhani is the Sheriff. Olivia Harrison is the one who whetted the world's appetite saying oh yes I think an expanded or Brainwashed 2. & I'll ask Paul McCartney & others to finish the songs in progress. Then nothing. If Dhani can't play on the Zeppelin reunion album no dice. Cause he's a peer. It must scare the daylights out of Apple Corps, this kid has veto power over anything they do. Like that Jack in the box in the cornfield episode of Twilight zone. Olivia Harrison now in her late 60s doesn't want to alienate her spoiled immature son, so he speaks for the Harrison's Apple vote. Except when the attorneys say no to protect the business. It's not hard to release early takes 2 or Brainwashed 2 or Valentine. Curators, engineers, George's friends, record executives, graphic designers do most of the work. Dhani doesn't want that. He wants to be big man. That's why you don't have Valentine or Brainwashed 2 on your playlist. Cause it's his & his records all stiffed & he resents it. No wonder they appeased him with rock band He also insulted the fans in an interview, about how they wanted archival releases & he was above all that, couldn't be bothered.

I need more vault releases from an almost disastrously bad solo career, if only big man Dhani would come up off the goods.

"ball and Jacks"? Is he a robot trying to pass as human? Or a time traveler from 1903?

I love how he thinks Dhani is a billionaire. He also takes every opportunity to slam his music. Best thing about Dhani is he has his own thing going instead of resting on his laurels and getting Jeff Lynne to produce Cloud Nine II.

It’s poats like this (and similar shit from Stillwaiting in the Prince thread, or most of those fuckers who carp on about Tony Visconti in the Bowie threads) which shows their naïve arrogance at believing they know better than the family and/or long-term collaborator when it comes to what the dead rock star wanted.
And either they’re being ‘arrogant’ by denying fans what they really want (which, beyond giving them total access to all master tapes and mixes and minutiae that even the artist gave not a shit for), or they’re fleecing the fans by putting something new out, as if it’s a life or death situation for these pricks to buy it.
Fuck them all.

Fuck them all. One thing I will never complain about is that the fans are being "fleeced." The only way you're gonna get me to complain about something new is if it's vinyl only.
And if nothing is being put out? Well, sure, I always want more more more, but I already have so much. I spend more time listening to what I have than whining about what I don't.
These idiots are getting so fucking impatient too. If it isn't announced right-fucking-now, it's not happening, and they are pissed. Sorry there's no Dylan bootleg series this year. Poor you, getting at least one major archival release PLUS a copyright collection every year for the past 5 or so, plus a new album every other year or more. Or the Plastic Ono Band box set which was surely intended to come out but got pushed back.
I'm not in the box set industry, but even in my line of work, graphic packaging and aluminum cans are in limited supply, especially in the past two months. I have to assume that making box sets is more difficult now and involves higher turn around times.

It's always near a goddamn military base. He probably did see a UFO. Technically, everything we see moving through the sky that we can't identify is a UFO. It's a safe bet that his description is wildly exaggerated or just straight up inaccurate.
I had an "encounter" with a UFO once. Something high up in the night sky, hovering overhead. You could hear the gentle but constant hum. Suddenly it took off, moving quite fast. It was a helicopter. I realized this only years later, when I had the same experience during the day and could clearly see. Other than those two times, I've never witnessed a helicopter so incredibly high up. I'm sure many UFO experiences are in that same vein, people seeing something they never saw before. Maybe he did witness some weird military shit. Probably not anything particularly meant to be a secret, what with it being visible to hundreds of apartments. Maybe someone out there can even parse through his description, if he managed to even make it somewhat accurate, and figure out what he actually saw.

The UFO was flown in from Alpha Centauri.
