Probably envious that Sugarmen- another hangeron- was actually able to write a book and get notoriety beyond a message board.

No surprise that this fried banana outed himself as MAGA in that zapped thread about that new MAGA anthem.

WTF? Is this a Hoofy sock puppet? None of the rkt88 stories involve Vicodin or LeeAnn Grimes. Not Skeeve.

That 60s LA thread (with all those fried-brain pensioners like this guy, lemonade kid and Johnny Moondog waxing about Danny Sugarman and Mackenzie Phillips) is doing a great job at stripping away any sense of rose tinted nostalgia that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood or Liquorice Pizza might have imbued on that era.

That thread is beyond foul. Wannabe starfuckers hanging on to every word burnout starfucker says. Full of bullshit- the latest one I saw (can’t dig too deep in that thread cuz it makes me throw up in my mouth) was Rkt88 saying he was there for the ‘protools session’ for the Beach Boys Kokomo. Protools didn’t even exist when that POS was recorded.

Protools didn’t even exist when that POS was recorded. Technically, it did exist - it was called Sound Designer II by Digidesign back then, and it took 10hrs to render a WAV file, and if you didn't like the edit almost as much time to undo it. Point is...it definitely did exist, but it wasn't called ProTools, so no one would've called it that. I'll bet rkt88 was hanging out w/Terry Melcher.

He probably delivered an eight ball to the studio, wore out his welcome, and was told to scram, bucko.

"They" tested MDMA on me ( told me to take two. I wanted only one ) and I was in a spinning room for well over 16 hours that I can accurately count relative to "time" as we all presumably know it.
I must have been 13 years old, 1969 ish. I'm fine now, thanks.
But I'm still in the dark as to who "they" were, or more likely, still is.”

This asshole is relentless. When asked if he knew Bryan MacLean well
“ As well as a 10/11 year old kid could know a neighborhood "rock star" but well enough to tell him I thought his lyrics to "Orange Skies" were insipid.
He thought the criticism, the impetuous folly of a child. But we knew better ha.
I was befriended by many of the local up and coming rock folks. I put that down to family connections, truth be to”

And that story sounds like bullshit. From what I understand, they didn’t meet until he started playing guitar with her in NYC, 1967. Sure, the VU were in LA in ‘66, but this story just sounds like pure bullshit.
