My nephew told me to listen to some albums by Skinny Puppy but I can't understand what he's singing about because the vocals sound all distorted.

Houses of the Holy better with title track replacing the Grunge? Spelling error aside, I love how they want to rearrange one of the most successful catalogues in music history.

Common People (Pulp) I'd never heard this song before as Pulp did nothing in the US. I found the song to be somewhat amusing. Reminds me of a 90's version of the Kinks lyrically. I can't say I would have it in my top 500, but I can see how someone with a particular love for the 90's, especially "brit pop" would include this. RATING: 3/5

RATING: 3/5 Lots of laughs; he then went on to list out his personal top 140 greatest songs (rewarded with zero likes on the post) and then went on an unnumbered tear, listing what must be another hundred songs in paragraph form, and closing out the post with "... Jungleland-Bruce Springsteen, I Will Always Love You-Whitney Houston; Let's Stay Together-Al Green; I Walk The Line-Johnny Cash, Common People-Pulp". Epic.

Graceland, So, The Queen Is Dead, Skylarking….. That’s just 1986.

Raising Hell, Lifes Rich Pageant, Master of Puppets, Parade, Reign in Blood, Candy Apple Grey… yeah, 1986 was awful.

Press To Play, Knocked Out Loaded, Dirty Work, August, Menlove Ave, Another View... 1986 was a banner year

This is as SHitey as it gets, but...I love 1986. Yeah, there was some garbage, but I think it may be my favorite year as far as popular music goes, and that spans many genres. From pop schmaltz to metal to boomer nostalgia to rap...I love it. Plus it kicked off the East Bay punk movement (Gilman Street) so that just adds to it.
