So while others were dying and being maimed in the Asian jungles, StEVE was choogling with Stephanie in the backseat? Nothing shocks me about this.

Steve first introduced me to the recordings The Beach Boys made when they were 14. Not a decent track on it.

STeVE told John Fogerty "if you don't start playing your old Creedence stuff again, people are gonna think Tina Turner wrote Proud Mary!"

StevE tried to broker peace between John and Tom Fogerty but stevE couldn't create the cure for AIDS in time. Lawyers.

When was that video from? The nineties?
You guys would be more in the know than I am, but when did STeVE’s “career” begin its death spiral?
Apart from Marsha Brownstain, who else had employed Hoffman since the advent of the internet/Google (when Stevie-boy’s MCA-era shenanigans could more easily be discovered)?

He claims to have been moonlighting at Warner Bros and has mentioned hanging around Capitol. Didn't he also say he was involved with a Travelling Wilburys mastering session?

All pre-internet (if it’s even true).

Steev also has said he has been part of the remixing/remastering of several classic Hollywood films. I haven’t looked much into it other than whenever an important Hollywood film from the silent era thru 1960s is mentioned STeVe has always “worked” on it and amazingly was always the one who found the “lost” reels just in time to save the entire project from failure - at last fleeting moment.

All pre-internet (if it’s even true). Of those I noted, the WB moonlighting supposedly happened just as the internet was coming out (though few had it). Those were the only examples I could think of. I'm guessing you mean post 1995 or so, and I'll be damned if anything comes to mind. Blue Note? I don't know the tune frame for that.

No, he just had a dumb story about “cranky” Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne and gentlemanly George Harrison at the mastering session that he got second hand from whoever actually did the mastering.

I like to think that His Bobness told STeVE to fuck off before Barron (Bob's personal security guy) remastered his face.

I highly doubt Steve really did anything noteworthy with WB, if at all.

I'm happy to be corrected if any of the several Steve Hoofmen on IMDB are Our Host, but it's weird how he worked all this cinematic magic and wasn't credited for any of it. Even the kids managed to work in a few "girl on sidewalk #2" and "vomiting boy" between "(uncredited)" on their resumes.

I always thought that was made-up side career, one that he wished he'd had.
And why on earth would WB hire someone with such a smeared reputation and then let him roam freely in their archives? Not likely, buckooo.
