You would think by the responses that this would be a difficult thing to figure out.

Is it "reverb tails" or "reverb trails"? I've never gotten that clarified over there, despite asking several times.

I think STEVE should stick to only working on MIDRANGE from now on. Not only would it fit his purist approach, it would also look really neat on the credits.

I remember when CDs first became a thing, the local album rock, what they would now call classic rock, station would take pains to brag that some crap they were playing was from a (wow!) CD. Except they didn't call it a CD or Compact Disc. Ah, no. They had their own name for it. They called it (cue reverb-drenched, excitable idiot radio voice) LASER ROCK. "That was some Van Halen LASER ROCK!" I wondered how much cocaine Sony or whomever the hell it was gave them every time they'd utter that ridiculous phrase. I guess HI RES MUSIC just doesn't have quite the same pizzazz. Laser Rock. Now available at all Radio Shack locations!...While this sleeve does look something AF's art department department might have come up with, it's actually a real thing... "Laser Rock" sounded like it could have been an old K-tel record, so I googled it. It turns out there was a CD by that name – made in 1984, for sale at Radio Shack stores: Well, gotta go sit down and rest now. The visual pun of lasers hitting a bunch of rock formations was just too much for my senses to take in.

I wonder how many copies of this Keith Hirsch owns? It is a slow day up here so I had to check. One copy only. - Various Laser Rock (Japan, Realistic (Radio Shack), catalog number 51-5004)
- Various Let’s Go to the Movies (14-track commercial sampler, Japan, Denon, catalog number 38C32-7074, released in Japan)
