They've spent the last three pages arguing about whether Yoko's name should appear in lower case or upper case in the booklet. Quintessential Beatardism, right there. A disease for which there is, sadly, no cure. I dunno...Mark David Chapman had a pretty good one.

Yoko deserves all of the bashing she gets, and then some. She did challenge him artistically, leading to some great musical moments, but there was a huge downside. John certainly paid the price for being sucked into her vortex. As brilliant as he was, she was smarter than him and played him like a fiddle, like a true master manipulator. Ultimately, John made his own decisions, and had his own personality defects, but Yoko was the worst possible spouse for John Lennon. She took advantage of John in his most vulnerable state, isolated him from his friends and family, and used him for fame and money. It was a toxic relationship. And yet, even still, I find Yoko to be inexplicably attractive. I don't know if you're right, but it's a compelling and quite convincing narrative you have there. I can't grasp your last sentence...maybe that comes with the insight of who she is :yikes:. Never did see what was attractive.

Lennon wouldn't have made it alive out of the sixties if not for Yoko.

I'd rather listen to this on repeat for the rest of my life, than ten minutes of any solo Beatle. Even though it involves both Yoko and an actual Lennon-spawn.

I've been around SC Mk I and now Mk II long enough to understand it's de rigueur to appreciate Yoko Ono's art here. If only because Yoko is so detested at SHiTEville, and, I strongly suspect, to show how cool and progressive these folks here are. However, I'd rather have my ears violated with a hot poker than listen to that shit. As you were.

It's garbage. I'd still like to hear her do Uptown Girl, though.

Because I truly give a fuck what all the other anonymous assholes here think of me and my musical tastes. And this is actually SC Mk IV.

I like Yoko just because I like me some cool weird shit, and she was the first cool and weird artist I found. I was intrigued just reading about her work, and then when I got that Live Peace In Toronto album, I couldn't decide which half I enjoyed more. The fact that so many squares dismiss her out of hand only adds to the fun!

The Yoko side of Live Peace is wonderful. It lacks the 'Bennie and the Jets' piano style of her lousy Billy Joel cover, but I find I can live with that.

Yeah, I,listened to Approximately Infinite Universe the other day not because I enjoy her work, but so I could garner some street cred.

Drop acid, get naked and fuck and suck for a couple of days
Those ginormous titties with the silver dollar nipples and that hairy fucking snatch
Anyone is STILL trying to figure out what Yoko Ono was all about as far as John Lennon was concerned is either a fag or just a stoopid cunt
It was 1968 folks - good times as long as you were too young or too old to get drafted
That, or lived in England
