I think that’s largely a myth that most of the 1987 Beatles CDs were flat transfers. @steve Hoffman himself has confirmed that at least a few of them were- the White Album, Past Masters and Let It Be at the very least, as I recall. Magical Mystery Tour as well, I think. How the fuck would STeVE know?

Steve had lunch with George Martin back in 1987, that's why.
Btw, when I said "had lunch" that meant that George Martin was in the same restaurant as him. Only a week earlier. But the waiter told him that George said he had a fat hamster and of course he was mistaken and meant a flat transfer.

Considering the SHiTEs take Steve's every utterance as gospel, I figured why not cite what Steve has said in the past (in case you haven't figured it out, I'm 'ohnothimagen'). If it really is bullshit, somebody like Lukpac will likely dispute it.

"Our host, our rock n roll host, certifies that they are flat transfers."

If I had any '87 discs -which I don't- I'd be more inclined to hold on 'em purely out of spite knowing they're a hot item with the SHiTEs... I could believe the '87's were all flat transfers, but not because Steve said they were. I don't believe anything that comes outta that slimy fucker's mouth. I was trusting my ears long before I ever even heard of Hoffmanland.

Is that when Martin told him John sang the line on Rain backwards rather than the tape being reversed? That was my epiphany. When Hoofy posted that, it all started to make sense.

The stereo '87s, from Peppers' on, do sound good. I don't believe anything is truly a "flat transfer" anyway.

forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/first-backwards-recording.148120/page-3#post-3481220Steve Hoffman said: ↑ RAIN: Not a backwards recording. He's singing it frontwards, dudes! sparkydog said: Uhh... what?! sparkydog. May 17, 2008 Steve Hoffman said: He is singing. Nothing is being run backwards. He is singing in real time, forward. See? Then I posted a backward sample of Rain clearly showing John was singing it normally. Steve tried to blow it off. Then he said something like I can’t believe George Martin would fib to me about something like that. How I survived there for almost 10 more years without getting banned is a mystery to me.

Hoffman is living in some delusional drug hazed world. My grandma with Alzheimer’s has a better grip on reality than Hoofy does.
