Swift has been styled at least once for a magazine to intentionally look like Pattie Boyd but aside from that, these comparisons are absurd Thousands of Beatards would have been frantically masturbating over that one I'd imagine.
Edit to add: The song Sweet Nothing off of Midnights is about Paul and Linda.

I just saw somehing on Facebook that Brian has dementia and all his kids appointed conservators and caregivers for the younger kids.
I have no idea if this is true. It's just sad and I know that at one point Carnie and Wendy called her Melandy.

It's just sad and I know that at one point Carnie and Wendy called her Melandy. It is true (the dementia part). I met Wilson at a CD signing for That Lucky Old Sun, and although he was sort of spaced out, his wife wasn't interfering with his interactions at all. I got what looked like a genuine smile out of him when I briefly spoke to him. I think she would have stepoed in had Brian started to get freaked out about the situation.

Anaan Ng in a NIN Downward Spiral thread:
"Then "Closer" was released as a single, and I saw people's reaction to it. It was embraced by youth culture because its lyrics were misinterpreted, and I thought it was one of the signs that our heretofore mannered civilization, one whose citizens at least attempted to be virtuous, was very far gone and that we were never coming back. The genie was out of the bottle, so to speak.
Because regardless of Reznor's intentions, the public took certain songs in a certain way, and by embracing them they betrayed the standards of decency and virtue that people at least attempted to fake in public back then even if they couldn't meet the actual demands of virtue in private. I actually recall thinking our culture was declining at the exact moment that I saw a particularly nice upper-middle class girl that I knew back then filthily getting into the lyrics of "Closer." I thought that if that was how that class of people was acting, then the rest of civilization was soon to take her cue and follow her on down."
That Jezebel!

Creepy co-worker alert! He’s gonna burn a ceedee
“ I have taken it upon myself to broaden the horizons of a co-worker. She is around 30, loves the psych era of The Beatles and for reasons I won't go into, I think it would be a good idea to introduce similar artists. I have a self-made CD containing Odessey & Oracle and then the best of The Zombies/Argent/Colin Blunstone. I also have a best of ELO ready to burn, sequenced similar to the single disc Essential Best of ELO. I am curious what else to go for.”

The Beatles are easy to get into, damn near everybody likes The Beatles. Fuckin' Zombies? Er, not so much.
