Nobody on that forum with mod privileges has a sense of humor You got that right...some of those Gorts are some of the most humourless motherfuckers on the planet. Either they were born without a sense of humour or had it surgically removed. Then, of course, there's good old O Don Piano, the SHiTE equivalent to Eeyore...not much of a sense of ha ha to be found with that asshole, either. I'd actually say he's even more humourless than the Gorts. Yeah that guy sucks, and another one just like him is Stone Turntable.

I refuse to log-in over there since I was banned 3 years ago, which means I can't put anyone on ignore. So I have to wade through Arnold Grove's crap jokes, Bobby Morrow's relentlessly inane thread-bumps, Grant and Oatsdad's witless and patronising drivel.....It's a dilemma.

Guess he deided to go his own way. I guess it is time for him to... go his own way? *cymbal crash* Perhaps a super medley: “Don’t Stop Dreams It’s Over My Head” I hear Neil Finn and Christine McVie are doing a duet of Don’t Dream It’s Over My Head So will Dreams segue into Don't Dream it's Over for the tour? Is Axl Rose available again? As @nice Marmot said, call W. Axl Rose. Isn't Angus Young looking for a new band..? Angus Young is behind this somehow. I just know it... Does LB play bass? Maybe he’s throwing in as bass player with the “New AC/DC” Did Mick Fleetwood and Angus Young go to school together? They should get Jagger in to cover and then it can be “Fleetwood Mick” Or get rid of McVie and get Ron Wood instead. Then just call it Fleet Wood. Just add Mick J on Vox and Ron W on guitar : Fleet Wood Mick? And Lindsay can team up what Nick Lowe and do a Buckingham/Nick album How about Mick Taylor and Yoko Ono also joining and renaming it Plastic Fleetwood Mick. How much Wood would a Fleetwood Wood wood, if a Fleetwood Wood would wood Wood? They can call it Mike & The MAChanics This band should rename themselves Crowded Mac and The Heartbreaker. There's really nothing to see here, imho. Unless you want to see Crowded Mac & The Heartbreakers Play the GH's... We posted that at approx the exact same time. Gteat minds... 'Crowded Mac and The Heartbreakers' ...bwahahahaha Bring back Lindsey and let Eric Cartman sing the Stevie stuff. Stevie & Mick must really need the money They should form a band called Stevie Micks. Maybe they should call this tour the Mac and Cheese tour for the cheesy melodrama that no doubt went on behind the scenes. Post of the day! :tiphat: The General Public go to see Stevie. What's Ranking Roger got to do with this? Is he in FM too now? I'm thinking they'll do 1/4 Petty songs, a short set of Crowded House songs, some Split Enz songs, a few things Campbell wrote for Don Henley, and then maybe close with Fleetwood Mac's greatest hits. Encore with Oh Well and Albatross. Maybe in one or two big cities, they'll do a short Beatles set in the middle, because Petty was a huge Beatles fan and he was in the Traveling Wilburys. They might even get Dylan to sit in for one of those mini sets. I'll be surprised if this isn't how it plays out. Me? I'm psyched to hear Christine McVie sing Stop Jammin' Me. This would not be a Fleetwood Mac concert which is what it's billed as. Might as well call it Mick Fleetwood's All Star Band.

How many decades has it been since I cared about Fleetwood Mac?

31 pages of inanity since yesterday. There's probably more substance in the comments sections of a Kim Kardashian tabloid piece. Doubt there's any difference between this and a run of the mill Justin-Bieber gossip thread, populated by Beliebers. Except of course, this lot are far older and 96% male.

Funny, in some respects, I don't find Fleetwood Mac (the famous lineup) far off from Justin Bieber. Both in their prime produced quality, accessible, and fun pop music, that was super successful but ultimately vapid. Now, I do prefer Fleetwood Mac over Bieber, but I would be fine not hearing from either of them. I do like Mike Campbell. I'm glad he's getting on. I must admit though, I was kinda hoping to see the Heartbreakers carry on with a new singer. Kinda like Queen with Adam Lambert or AC/DC with Axl Rose.

I thought you were kidding when you said Axl Rose was singing for AC/DC, then noticed it was for real. I suppose these acts have long past the point of producing anything new of any worth, so they're all cabaret cash cows anyway. Would you go and see either QAL or ACDC live?

No, but then I wouldn't see them with the original singers either. Just not enough interest on my part. Hell, I never even saw Tom Petty. That one I do regret a bit. He played in my neighborhood last summer, and for whatever reason that still wasn't enough to get me to go. My friend went, for free no less cause he went in uniform on a detail. He didn't get to stick around for the whole show, but he did spend a lot of time at the foot of the stage so that surely made up for it.

But, the last album that I bought of his was "Wildflowers" which was, what 1995? Played it less than a handful of times. Honestly I don't recall the last time I played TP & the HBs. Played Johnny Thunder's Heartbreakers LAMF more recently and frequently than TP.

I don't know much about the music beyond the greatest hits and such, another reason why I probably held back from going. And I had mistakenly thought that they weren't doing a lot of hits (that was a different tour.) I would have had a good time, I'm sure, but if I had really wanted to be there, I would have.

You do realize if this was a poll at Shitville you would have the option to choose up to three, right??
“What’s your absolute favorite brand of toilet paper? Choose up to three.” What a fucking joke.
