Speaker wire is so expensive that one dude can only afford four feet of it.

Once the single malt scotch starts flowing, and the toes begin a-tapping, that's when he takes to recreating Philippe Petit's 1974 high-wire walk between the Twin Towers.

Once the single malt scotch starts flowing, and the toes begin a-tapping, that's when he takes to recreating Philippe Petit's 1974 high-wire walk between the Twin Towers. Not knowing Philippe Petit's name, a quick Wikipedia search gave the details of his 1974 stunt. Impressive. While the amount of prep he put into the walk was staggering (he spent six years planning it out), the way the authorities handled the case in the aftermath was also unlike what I would have expected (all charges dropped if he agreed to perform a show for children). Thanks for mentioning Mr. Petit's name. It was enjoyable reading about his antics.

Made for a decent movie, as well. I just read about the movie as well. Looks like something I'd enjoy watching.
