When I was little, we had a giant solid wood pitchfork propped up in the corner of the living room (well, it was normal size but I was tiny so it looked giant.) I wonder if it's presence helped make all the music sound buttery and creamy. That’s got me thinking, we have a tall lamp on the fireplace, I wonder if that’s what’s been causing sibilance on a couple of my albums? I’ll probably throw it out to not take any chances.

That’s like piling up $25,000 worth of stuff in a corner. I’m not very neat, but that’s enough of a mess that I couldn’t relax there.

Seriously, is this what those fucks do to listen to music? This looks like the wiring of the Mission Control consoles that NASA used.

When I realize how much those idiots spend on just those freaking cables, I roll my eyes up so far I can actually study my own temporal lobe...

If the point of being an audiophile is to hear the music as purely as possible, doesn't that mess of copper, steel and plastic do the complete opposite?

I thought I could figure out how to hook up pretty much any stereo, but I take that back. Two channel audio just doesn't take that much effort to sound good. I think a movie theater with THX uses less cable.

The best part is that he has some cable management going on. There's also a bunch of holes there where it looks like at one point there was more. As someone who has had to recable a network closet, this gives me anxiety.

I am sharing this screen shot because I see STeVe replied to it but I have to ask: who I’m their right fucking mind would put those ugly damn white things on their speakers besides a SHiTe?

Can't be a shite system with out at least one ridiculous component. They should have kept the pallet everything came on too. Imagine how everything would sound filtered through a patented Wood Pallet Audio Transformer.
