I appreciate as a someone who plays a lot of vinyl I may not be in the place to throw stones but cassette is a horrible format and you know digital recordings have been around for over 40 years, just because they weren't in file form it doesn't make them any less digital. If anything it should make playback more robust. Those old digital recordings would have been dubbed to analogue then duplicated at high speed for cassette, both sides at the same time, without most people having a clue they were originally digital recordings, or if they did what that meant. Is there a corner of the net where people argue that side 2 of cassettes sound better/worse as they were dubbed in reverse?
