He'd have me if it was "Fa-La-La-La-La-La-Lon."
Otherwise, I ain't got time for that.

He's not doing a rewrite of "Wonderful Christmastime"? He's just asking for trouble from the five people that will show up: "It was OK except for the dumbass on guitar and the fact that they didn't do Wonderful Christmastime".

I would dearly love more 'deep-state' info on "VonEatongate". There's gotta be more dirt behind the rift between these two iconic figures...

I think on one poat Rfreeman said they had “artistic differences.” I got the impression it was a money issue. I had that impression as well. I imagine it was a combo of the two. I will have to dig through and see if I can find it. Of course it was written to sound so dramatic while it probably had as much drama as a sappy Hallmark movie.

It's hard for me to imagine artistic differences given the amount of suckiness involved, but rfreeman did produce a couple tracks on his album himself because Lon didn't think the approach rfreeman wanted worked. So maybe. Either way it is classic rfreeman to both publically run down Lon and name drop him every chance he gets.

There’s a quote from Lon on the back of the Beagles CD that I think is supposed to come across as Lon telling Rfreeman he is incredibly talented, but reads more like an update of the climax of “A Boy Named Sue”. Attachments:

Does that piece of shit really have 19 songs on it? Has anyone made it through the entire thing in one sitting? Rob?

Of course it was written to sound so dramatic while it probably had as much drama as a sappy Hallmark movie. It was this exchange that had lead me to my conclusions (all are from Dec. 11, 2018, in a now-closed Pink Floyd thread): Having just received what appear to be threats to sic a hit man on me from a former musical associate, the Pink Floyd drama seems like small potatoes Spent a good chunk of yesterday afternoon at the police station filing a report. Upside - still alive. Damn, what prompted that? Did you give credit him on the album liner? The threat mentioned dissatisfaction with both credits and $ though I followed the contract in both regards. Since you're in New Jersey, I think the mention of retaining a hit man could be a credible threat. When I get off the train and into my car I will definitely make sure the brakes are working before I get up to speed. Hopefully being interviewed by the police last night will have convinced him that following through would lead to his immediate incarceration for the rest of his life. Though, given how pleasant his wife is, that may not be a deterrent

Would either plaintiff or defendant know "art" if it smacked them in the face? Cherchez l'argent, I sez. [Yikes. I responded before seeing the back of riff freeman's ceedee. "Lesser talents are more often ignored." BWAAAHAA AAHAAAHA! He put that *endorsement* on a vanity press release?! Just more unbelievable grist for the mill!]

Wow! That's cosmically Beatarded. I'm willing to wager even TheMess thinks that's some stupid shit.
Wait. I take that back. I'm guessing TheMess thinks that is some next level, deep as hell Beatles analysis.
