I remember seeing a couple of stray episodes of Laugh-In when Nickelodeon or some other shitty channel was showing them. I didn't laugh once. That shit is appallingly unfunny. It used to play on Trio. Now there's a network that I'm sure the SHiTES ate up back then. If memory serves me well, it was channel 102 for me, one up from Sundance.

No, this was in the mid-80's. I think it was on Nick At Nite around the same time they were showing The Monkees.

Wasn’t it akin to McDonald’s using hip hop in commercials? The establishment trying to be cool?

Laugh In has aged better than Pharrell William's "Happy." Yeah, I said it.

SHITLOK or whatever is another one that I figured was Quest. Basically, anyone who pulls the "I'm 21 and hip to the music of today!" routine is suspect in my book.

Safe to say it hasn't aged well.
I find it really hard to believe that it was even funny in its day. What little I could stomach watching of this a few years ago is so painfully stilted and embarrassingly self-conscious — like some Nehru-jacketed ad man's desperately misguided attempt at being "hip."
I remember finding 'Here come de judge" hilarious on Laugh-In. In my defense, I was seven years old .

This one takes the biscuit. They're arguing over / discussing what the correct title of Wings at the Speed of sound is. Wings - speed of sound

"Perfect Strangers" ran until 1992? There was barely enough plot to sustain the first series.
