Marr's guitar playing is sublime. But if I never hear Morrissey's fucking whining again it will be too soon.

I saw that one and it was click bait. Sure enough, about 3 or 4 replies in someone had to ask “what song was it?”. I imagine they were just a little bit sweaty at the time too.

Extreme, as in the “More Than Words” guys? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 You can always count on the SHites to bring some totally left field shit into a discussion. Also, someone really thinks cover bands are licking their lips waiting for the Beatles stuff to go public domain before I guess canonizing then? As we’re discussing wrt the Beagles, I really don’t think that’s an issue that crosses 99.99% of cover bands minds.

I have yet to see public domain or not status prevent a band from playing anything they want, except in Hoofyville.

I can speak from personal experience that there are venues in my town that have a strict “no covers” policy because they’ve had issues with ASCAP/BMI. But I’ve never met a musician too worried about it. I certainly don’t imagine that’s holding back anymore Beatles covers than are already happening.

Do you think the scorn of SHiTEs hold back more Beatles covers than venue managers? That would be my guess ....
