In typical fashion, someone starts a "Considered their worst album but it's your favorite" thread and by the second fucking post after the OP some dipshit makes his own rules and says, "Well, not actually my favorite by them but..." And that's where it starts. I swear, every fucking thread goes off the rails on the first page, it never fails. Most have the attention span of a goldfish. It's why every thread just ends up with half of the posts not following along with the guidelines so it's just a giant list of random albums.

My wife would kill me. Like literally kill me if I spent $1400 on a record. But I never would.
Christ she even told me to buy the stupid Beatles singles box and I told her no, I don’t want it.

Tribute says: "The only time I ever spent $1,400 on a record was for a rare Barry Manilow 45RPM. After that, my wife put a block on my credit card." Later on Tribute says: Meanwhile who the fuck spends $1400 on a 45, much less a Barry Manilow 45? His wife should have cut off more than his credit card. I’m more of a collector than I’d like to admit. In the last year I was offered a 45 in my area of interest that was more of a rumored to exist thing than something I could just wait for on Discogs. I even went to the store to check it out, but I couldn’t justify $1200 for one 7”, even knowing I’d never see it again and knowing this was as close to a foolproof investment in vinyl as there could be. I just could not justify that kind of money for one damn record. Also, I have to say I love the speed at which the inane SHite threads unravel. Who really cares what your least favorite second track on an album released in February 1976 is anyway?

Was it the legendary, mythical 1989 one-sided pressing of “Cecilia Ann” by STeVE Hoofman and the Sticky Fingers Boys?

Classic rock? Buddy Holly is now classic rock.?
Fullbug is such a dork. “Which one I’ll check it out!”. Yeah cuz you know, you need to go to a shitty fast food joint to listen to oldies that you’ve already heard a million times and probably have 20 copies of.

I was fumbling with my phone in the car the other day to get Spotify up and the classic rock station was playing "I Wanna Be Sedated." I figured I'd let a Ramones song go, and kind of wondered how they became classic rock, because rock stations hated them back then. The next song was "Every Rose Has it's Thorn." Classic rock was never all that great, but man, it's just getting worse now!
