I think millennials do love music, but in terms of maturity, they believe their emotions overrule truth, logic, reason...If something is unpleasant we used to "put on our big boy pants" and deal, while they think anything unpleasant is "anxiety" and "unfair." It is called "infantilism" and it is facilitated in schools. This is the first place I've ever read or even heard of the opinion that today's 18 year olds are more mature. It surprised me.

They realise the millennials are adults at this point, right?
No?
Or is "millennials" boomer-speak for "anyone who was born after Ted Nugent molested his first thirteen year old"?

Yeah, Millenials are in their 30s now. And let's not get it twisted, it's the Boomers who have forsaken facts and science for opinions and feelings.

It's so mature and logical and reasonable to sell out your children's future by running up the national debt for decades, annihilate the environment, crash the economy, then blame the slow recovery on your children's generation for being lazy. we millennials just need to put on our big boy pants and pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and get a fourth job to pay down our mortgages
Fox News boomers told me that mr rogers is to blame for my entitled snowflake attitude

Yet they openly support racism, misogyny, and the facist tendencies of their dear leader...

Normally I don't like to generalize about a generation of people but whenever I hear a Boomer making this type of talk, I'll usually make a comment back. Millennials are in their early to late 30's now, lived through the Great Recession and the housing collapse, and tried to get a job when the service industry basically vacated the country.
Meanwhile the whitey Boomers (and, to a certain extent, older Gen Xer's like myself) managed to go to college at a fairly cheap rate, get a job and build equity in a home before said collapse. And, to add insult to injury, they aren't even retiring so the younger generation cannot even move up. And they aren't dying either -- I've actually told my own kids that if I had to do it all over again I'd probably go into the Assisted Living business as that business will likely Boom soon [pun intended].
