I would never pay more than $1237 to see Katy Perry.

Please tell me no SHites actually "liked" that poat.
Edit: My morbid curiosity got the better of me. Last five poats in that thread are all by Oatsfucker, with a single "like" between them (and only because a SHite liked that Oatsdead quoted them).

The potential baseball lockout is relevant to me because I'm thinking about going to Seattle. It's my goal to see every MLB team at home at least once. I've seen 29 of 30 teams, with only SEA left to go. I'm tempted to do a combo concerts/baseball trip, but since there's a chance there won't be any MLB games in early May, it's risky to purchase Macca tickets with that purpose in mind!

I hope the show gets cancelled (maybe for a symptom-free positive test from a vaccinated crew member) after Oatsdead checks in at the Travelodge

Give him credit for the stamina it takes to masturbate during all three nights.

Sound checks are stressful enough without paying randoms expecting a show. Having said that, there's so little spontaneity in a Paul McCartney performance that I suspect the desk work is mostly automated by snapshots.

$1500 to see the identical Katy Perry show 3 times. It isn't even like Lady Gaga who had two different shows during her Vegas residency. I feel like seeing it 3 times will just suck all the fun out of it. It's supposed to be a special event. 3 times just sounds like a chore.

Having said that, there's so little spontaneity in a Paul McCartney performance that I suspect the desk work is mostly automated by snapshots. I saw McCartney at Comerica Park in Detroit in maybe 2011 or 2012. Standing outside the ballpark we had a perfect view of sound check through the gates. We may not have been down there but we were seeing and hearing what everyone else paid $$$$ for. Plus I could see you can’t even get close to the stage, you have to stand in the middle aisle between the sections of seating. I decided right then and there not that I ever would anyway but I would never buy any of those specialty deals. In the end you still see the same show as everyone else.
