Actually, I've noticed this phenomenon, too. But my take is so different from Gill-mung (sp?).
Let's be clear; advertisers NEVER do ANYTHING from a moral standing. They're not kow-towing to Killary; they're still just pushing junk by reassuring consumers that Brand Ecchhh is part of the world in which they're comfortable. And nowadays that means showing some couples who aren't vanilla Mom-and-Dad.
Gill-man and his ilk have won the Interweb. They've ruined every chatroom and forum I've ever frequented. Even the White House (for now). But reality is rearing its ugly head. And his world of prejudicial privilege is crumbling around him as his leaders circle the grave. The Money Men have made this clear.
I find it a pleasing thought; it cheers me up no end when the headlines get me down. But then again, most things that make the SHites miserable tend to cheer me up. Hmm.
