At least the Beatard SHites think it's funny...

Ever notice how certain Beatard SHites always want to participate in every Beatles-related thread over there, even if it means to complain about "yet another Beatles thread", or to crack (so-called) Beatles-themed "jokes"?
Here, a SHite asks an anally-retentive question about something nobody should care about, but it doesn't deter the mirth-masters who really can't answer the question but would like to participate anyway:
OobuJoobu: I'm starting to think that it's a mistake by Amazon, that he's been linked incorrectly to the album, and then all the other sites I can see selling the album that also contain his name, are due to them just somehow taking a feed from Amazon's information and therefore perpetuating the mistake!Arnold Grove That's what I think. Never heard of this Mr Chatel.Platterpus: That's funny.:laugh:Colocally: DO NOT GO THERE!! Colocally: DO NOT GO THERE!! Arnold Grove: Oh, my apologies. I should have said "Les Nouveaux Originaux" ... Darrin L: It was Philippe Chatel who's sang the "ahhhhhhs" on "A Day in the Life".No Bull: He was briefly considered the 5th Beatle for a few days in 1969 by a DJ at Radio Luxemburg...
Some say his name was removed from the cover of Electronic Sounds... and that he photographed John and Yoko for the cover of Two Virgins.
He was also a roadie for the Elephants Memory Band in the late 90's.
Phew! My sides are aching from all that madcap hilarity.
Seriously, Arnold Grove needs an intervention or something. I used to think kwadguy was the most cluelessly "funny" SHite over there, but ol' Arnie has certainly earned the crown.
BTW, have any of you ever run into "No Bull" before? My earliest exposure to him was when he joined a few threads just to troll the folks who were having a good time discussing whatever they'd been discussing. He brought nothing to the table, except for being a rude asshole.

George Harrison "Electronic Sound" - Who was Philippe Chatel?
OobuJoobu: I've just ordered the CD today from Amazon, and was surprised to see it advertised as by being by George and "Philippe Chatel" who I'd never heard of.
I've googled him, and I can see in various places his name appearing as part of Electronic Sound related pages, but I can't see any information about how he was involved in this album. His Wikipedia page, translated from French, makes no mention of his involvement, and shows his music career as starting in the 1970s.
So, anyone able to shed any light please on what his involvement was with George's album!?
Edit: If anyone wants to say "It's all explained in the CD liner notes" then that's absolutely fine, it'll be arriving tomorrow!

Platterpus: Who the heck is Philippe Chatel?

Arnold Grove: Bernie Krause's name in French???

Arnold Grove: Could Philippe Chatel be the leader of The New Originals?
Janet: He's a French singer with a lot of records to his name. He has no involvement with the album.
Bernie Krause's name was originally on the artwork, but was removed in the area where there is silver paint on the lower part. Some believe Mr. Krause's name should have been the only one on the record, claiming that he was the only one who made the noises.

Shawn: Maybe Philippe did the album side that Bernie didn’t.
Arnold Grove: If I was Philippe Chatel, I would sue Amazon for associating him with the album.

Anthology123: I thought Rupert and Jostick assisted on the album?
Avenging Robot: Gee, I guess Philippe might be entitled to all of the prior royalties for sales of the album. He might even be able to fill his gas tank entirely with the winfall.

Colocally: DO NOT GO THERE!!
O Don Piano: Mmmmmm....!
