Links to the garbage that he is selling on Ebay. How about if you can't make rent don't buy every god damn turntable you come across.

Ghostworld says the Rock sucks in 4K in a Motel
And from the new clarity, the thing I seem to notice most is Dwayne Johnson is a really bad actor. Never noticed it so much before. He's running around with Mighty Joe Young and a bunch of CGI dinosaurs. The computer animated beasts look great in this high definition, you can see every bit of fur and snot. But I can also see every nuance on actors' face and for the first time I think Dwayne Johnson is really a bad actor. It's revealed in 4K. I noticed this with Peter Jackson's Hobbit, as well. Poor physical performances LEAP out at you. Maybe this will be like a new dawn of the talkies' fallout, with higher resolution revealing the poor theatrical skills of once-popular "faces," and people like Dwayne won't make the transition to the new 8k clarity; whereas the stage-trained members of Royal Shakespeare Company will win even more roles. Thank goodness: the death of the "movie star" at last.

Why is digital so good for video but so bad for audio?

Why is digital so good for video but so bad for audio? I always wanted to ask if digital had been invented first and analogue came later then would the SHiTEs be begging for digital remasters instead of analogue?

His basic logic is full of shit. And I'll have to take my Vidiot hat on to tell why.
The video master for Rampage (and 95% of current releases) is actually sourced from a 2K file.
Even if the footage is shot on 4K and plus cameras, the digital intermediate is then reduced to 2K, because filmmakers don't want the computers to work four times longer than in 2K when it comes to color grading or CGI rendering. Besides, when the camera moves, the definition is reduced, so it would make no sense to handle image at full size.
The UHD Blu-ray or the 4K stream can have better PQ than Blu-ray or regular HD stream for a few reasons, it uses a more efficient codec that handles details better, the bitrate is higher, there's some upsampling applied and the video can then use HDR, resulting in better colors and contrast than on the regular Blu-ray.
Now, have I told you about the time I saw Dick Van Patten in the nude in his dressing room?
Fuck, I really need to take that hat off...

Two days after starting a thread, stating that California fires have torched his apartment, and he wants somewhere to stay, he's back watching TV again. Either he made it up, or he has since got somewhere to stay, yet has nothing more interesting to report than some inane observation from couch potato position. Dunno which is more pathetic. I mean, if a fire destroys your habitat and you survive it, but it doesn't force you to re-evaluate your life, nothing is going to do it. Things that don't go together, name something discordant

So, does Ghostworld model himself after the Steve Buscemi character in the movie? I'm thinking yes.

He's adding his own asshole spin to it, though.

At my next class reunion I will tell that to the best looking girl in my graduating class. She was also the valedictorian of the class, raised by a father who lost his job and fell into alcoholism and lost their house after her mother died. But certainly it was her looks that gave her that full ride to Notre Dame, not her hard work. The fact that se is a successful dentist now is all because of her looks. Thank goodness Ghostworld could set that straight for me.
