They are like a pack of fucking babies on that forum. They are like I finally get this artist. Which album do I start with? Go to Amoeba and buy some of his albums you fucking child.

At least there's like one guy over there who listens to Boris.
So kudos, I guess. "Music lovers" indeed...

Is Frank Zappa a jizz magician?
Btw, I finally listened to that song Black Napkins that everyone in shiteville seems to rave about. It was a pretty lame performance, maybe at best a cheap imitation of Mahavishnu Orchestra.
I think I'm old enough and mature enough to know that you start with Hot Rats, and then finish there too.

Why the fuck are there a million Zappa threads at that place lately, anyway? The SHiTES are reaching the age where they have to get tested regularly for prostate cancer.

Always loved those threads -- "tell me what I should listen to".
You can't figure that out for yourself? Going watch YT or stream the discography on Spotify, if it's there. They sound like a bunch of ten year olds.

I'm a huge Van Morrison fan. Which of his many albums should I start with?

This is what you must do if you're afraid of Spotify I guess.
Maybe not. Maybe he's just lonely.

It does seem that the SHites hit their inevitable existential panic/meltdown state sometime in 2016 — and their heightened state of hysteria has never abated. All they really do at this point is shakily fondle their worry beads and moan helplessly over this week's C-list Rawk Death, be it Tom Petty or whichever former Marshall Tucker Band member it'll be tomorrow. Seriously, it is morbidly fascinating how that forum has become a truly bizarre obit site-cum-mausoleum, and they are doing what you expect SHites to do, i.e. stubbornly double down on whatever pathetic, lingering nostalgic minutiae that can still somehow managed to be dredged up (discussing Beatles LPs pressed for exclusive sale in British supermarkets, pre-ordering the 600th King Crimson box set of concert recordings from 1971, the final floor scraping Monkees outtakes, etc.) I really started to notice this around the time David Bowie died. The SHites' inescapable realization that their own deaths were imminent, coupled with the fact it has been getting more and more impossible for them to deny that their (grand)dad rock is (mostly) now half a century old and counting, all this has well and truly pushed them over the edge. They managed to spend the majority of their lives deluding themselves that SHite values were the basis of a viable, albeit lonely and sexless, lifestyle, but now all the surviving SHites have left is spewing impotent rage over the fact that people of the 21st century do not give a single fuck about electric guitars, audiophile nonsense, amassing a library of LPs/CDs, and masturbating over the Beatles, Freddie and the Dreamers and Frank Fucking Zappa. Not that I have a problem with this. This terminal stage of SHite anxiety is producing some wonderful comedy fodder. So, please, keep on rockin', SHites! I can just imagine what will happen when Beatle Paul pegs out, the Bowie death of 2016 will look like a mild rehearsal. The capacity crunch on Hoofys server would be such that the forum may never recover.

There's a Tolstoy short story where an old man is dying of cancer and realizes to his horror, at the last possible minute, that his entire life was a waste of time. I think of that story every time I see a SHite disdainfully reach for the word 'hipster' or 'millennial'.
