I came across this Princess Diana "tribute" album "Diana, Princess Of Wales Tribute" and I was kind of disgusted at the tastelessness of it. It's just a bunch of songs some company licensed (none of which have anything to do with Princess Diana, and all of which were pre-existing songs) and they just slapped her picture on the cover because they knew it would sell in the wake of her death. Various - Diana, Princess Of Wales TributeSome of the songs are actually about other people- Michael Jackson's Gone Too Soon is about Ryan White, and Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven is about his son which makes putting them on a Princess Diana CD extra tasteless somehow. I can't even imagine really enjoying this as a compilation because the genres and artists are just all over the map. You guys know how the "charity" thing works, right? I don't have to explain that, I hope? A small percentage of sales of these albums to go the charity, of which a very small percentage of that money actually goes to helping people (after overhead is factored in, etc). Trust me, they made good money on this and a lot of it went to the record company that put it out. And all they had to do was comb the archives and slap a few syrupy songs together ("Everybody Hurts" by REM? Seriously?).

I think every Brit has at least one scatty, tabloid-reading relative who bought that compilation. It reminds me: Christopher Hitchens did a funny little documentary about the public reaction to her death. Worth a watch.

Among the many things Princess Di was famous for before she died and was elevated to the sainthood overnight was her appalling taste in music. I seem to recall she once referred to Dire Straits as "classical music."

Canada Postal Strike...So why don't they replace them with people who will work and do the job that needs to be done? I'd hire replacement workers on a temporary basis and if the strike continues, fire the strikers and keep the replacement workers on. The mail has to be delivered on a regular basis.

Are Paul's box sets getting delayed because of a postal strike? That's a damn shame. I hope nobody gets hurt over this.

Doesn't PaulBTK know temp workers are totally going to try to shove his orders in his box and dent the shit out of his physical product's corners? He needs to think this shit through more.

That kiddie porn's not going to deliver itself. Or the kiddie cereals, or the kiddie toys, or the cartoon DVD's...Paul's either got the mentality of an eight year old or they're simply his sexual preference.

The guy has severe alopecia. That makes him quite reclusive, and he tends to be very dismissive on social welfare, as he doesn’t want to be regarded as needing help, ie as weak and a loser.

Yeah, I figured it was something like that- when he's not poating about kid's stuff Paul is always trying to give other SHiTEs "tough" advice and whatnot. He tries to come across as someone who's very jaded and cynical in regards to life. So, in other words, in addition to being a suspected paedo, he's a callous, insensitive asshole as well.

Disney+, long-rumored Disney streaming service, launching in late 2019Bring on all the "Classic Disney" stuff that used to be on The Disney Channel back in the 80's and 90's. I hope they have a "Treasures" section that has restored, HD transfers of all the classic Disney shorts grouped into categories (Mickey, Goofy, Donald, etc). Being able to binge-watch a bunch of Goofy "How To _______" shorts would be awesome. Who will be the first asshole to beg for Song of the South?
