Who is your favorite original Chicago lead singer?Hi! I was listening to Chicago II the other day and realized that Chicago was not only blessed with one great lead singer, they had 3! Just for fun, vote for your favorite 2: Terry Kath- Soulful singer whose key vocals were on "Colour My World", "Make Me Smile" and plenty more. Peter Cetera- Crystal clear tenor who sang "25 or 6 to 4", "If You Leave Me Now" among others Robert Lamm- Bobby is the steady Eddie of the group, a perfect middle of the road singer "Beginnings" and "Saturday in the Park" are among his best known songs. Please just vote for your favorite singers, not the material they sang or how Chicago went down the tubes after Terry's unfortunate demise (not my opinion).

Jimi Hendrix once said that Terry Kath was his favorite original Chicago lead singer.

Wouldn’t there be only one original lead singer?

Pedantic SHiTE mode activated:
This fucker can't even get this right. There were five members of the original Chicago lineup who sang lead; Terry, Peter and Robert, plus Lee (after the seventh album) and Jim (on the 10th and 11th album).

Actually, on the 27th and 28th albums, Big Ronnie put down his horn and sang his ass off, becoming - in my view - the greatest of all their singers. His death is the reason their 34th and 35th albums were so disappointing.

Terry Kath had the worst singing voice of any rock performer of moderate renown. His faux-soulful approach just made him sound constipated.
Robert Lamm could convey smugness and pseudo-funkiness about as well as anyone. I don't think he meant to.
Peter Cetera sounded like a very recent victim of castration.

Tough call between the other one and the fat dead guy. But I had to go with the fat "how stupid do you think I am, it's not even loaded, see?" dead guy.

I voat for “Who the fuck cares about Chicago in the first place?”
If that wasn’t an option, it should have been.

Either the one who sang 'We Built This City', or the one whose penis exploded.
Been trying to think of a Brit equivalent to Shitcago, but to our credit, I don't think we've ever had one.
