The saddest thing is Haristar is quite young. I could understand his level of obsession if he were a typical Beatard - 50+, reeking of male menopausal bodily odour, hair growing everywhere you don't want it and nowhere that you do, etc - but anyone under 40 who gives a fuck about this shit really needs to get a life, or just fucking die already.

It's also incredibly moronic how a bunch of people who have dedicated their lives to completing their collections of Ringo Starr's entire solo output love to jabber on and on about the "red" and "blue" albums. I mean, I thought greatest hits compilations were for bands you didn't really like all that much? Why obsessives give a shit about them is beyond me...

A lot of them grew up with red and blue, so the albums are considered canon. Both were part of the 09 remaster campaign. These are the same people who desperately want Rock n Roll Music and Love Songs reissued.

Now there is an album STeVE could probably manage to work on.

1980s albums that have *never* been released on CD?I'll be the Beatles guy and mention the original Live At The Hollywood Bowl LP. Except it was released in 1977. You'd be better off saying "Rarities", for this particular thread.

Maybe I've been shovelling too much but I have no idea what the fuck this idiot is talking about.
Hey Jude Outro: Was there an influence?

Frankly, I thought Past Masters was a decent compilation title on more than two levels (four or five, not all complimentary), but they didn't come up with that one themselves. Nor did they come up with 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 either.
In other news, I was gratified to learn yesterday on the radio that "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" was the most-played song of the 20th Century. There's one Q where the A isn't Beatles.
