I went to see John in concert back in June. He looked frail and had difficulty in walking on and off stage. After the gig, I waited outside the venue. John made his way to the tour bus and once he had settled himself inside the bus, his road manager handed stuff to him for signing. I got a book signed. He did sign VU albums for a few other people.
