To not ever have heard of her is quite the admission of pure ignorance. Even if only from the terrorist bombing of her concert, and her subsequent charity work.

These blowhards sure do love to feign ignorance. "Ariana Grande? Never heard of her" They're not feigning.

SHite mode on: 6? I only could come up with 4, plus that documentary thing. Which ones did I miss? Meet The Beatles! 20 January 1964. Capitol T-2047 (mono) ... The Beatles' Second Album. 10 April 1964. Capitol T-2080 (mono) ... A Hard Day's Night. 26 June 1964. United Artists UA 6366 (mono) ... Something New. 20 July 1964. ... Beatles '65. 15 December 1964. .......and The Beatles Story Nov 1964 Yeah, I had omitted the soundtrack LP because it was from a different company and Capitol had pretty much released the same tracks on “Something New”. If you add all the albums from VeeJay, MGM, and the rest of the cash-in crowd, the 1964 output is staggering.

Anything that pisses off the average SHiTE is a good thing.

They’ll talk about how lame and desposable pop she is and then they’ll shell out tons of cash for Corey Hart or some shit.

I wish Ariana had the same gravitas and artistic merit as ONJ.

I note that the OP in the thread Brick Wall poated seems almost surprised that a "female artist" had a good album in the last 20 years.
This is the prevailing mode at SHTV. In the most comprehensive survey of "favorite album" ever conducted there (in 2008, I am too lazy to fetch it now but I did poat a withering analysis of SHTV tastes in that thread that somehow wasn't gorted), albums by three (3) women made the top 200+ albums there. To put that into perspective, albums by black artists appeared 7 or 8 times in the top 200, and there were at least 5 or 6 albums released after 1980 that made the list. (Ram was deemed the 23rd best album of all time iirc)
What is it about SHites and women? (Never mind, dumb question) I could sperg out and list 200 albums by women that would easily be worthy candidates for their face-palmingly insular top-200, without even having to look up anything. Particularly since 2000, there have been a lot of excellent records by women; sorting by most-played tracks on my media player, it seems like the genders are running almost equal in my little musicverse, at least since I installed my last HD. One could argue that women may have more left to say musically then men do at this juncture in pop music history.
But what am I saying? Anyone who plays Ram more than all but 22 other albums throughout life is not really interested in music anyway.
