STeVE is better than anyone

I didn’t know (or care) that STeVE remixed the Doors first album, especially since I thought STeVE didn’t do or like remixes. But ...

STeVE needs to take the SHites to LEDOland and teach them how to do the LEDO shuffle.

The mono mix is pretty rough and the stereo mix also has its faults. But there's a perfectly good 2007 remix. That's probably the best it will ever sound. The album simply wasn't recorded that well. It's amateur hour compared to Strange Days, which is about right seeing as how the first album was made by a virtual unknown band, whereas the second was done by a group with a major hit. The End sounds great though.

I can't be the only one who's noticed that, a few poaters aside, all Doors threads are full of folks who are about as coherent as drunk, stumbling Jim Morrison.

I'm no insider, but anyone else find it a little odd that "they" would just send STeVE multitracks to play with given how protective the Doors organization seems to be?

I’m imagining that when they took the tape box out of his hands he remained in this position until his handlers took him away.
