Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman indicted in college entrance exam scandalLori is scheduled to film some Hallmark movies later this year and is also involved in a show, so I wonder if those will be affected. Why is this a crime? Isn't "donating money to get your kid into a good school" a time-honored tradition of the wealthy set? I mean, I guess I understand why it might be a crime if a public school is involved (but why San Diego State?!? LOL). But for private schools? Let the free market decide if this practice should be allowed or not. I won't be surprised if Lori ends up getting recast on Fuller House. Here's the problem this has been going for years lets say it really started during the early 20century.. And parents who believed there child deserved or was special enough to go to one high ranking colleges.. And did all money taken under the table help? Not really.. Those who are meant to achieve will do so.. those who are forced or do not want achieve waste there parents money and time. And become societies problem.. I cannot feel sorry for either one of them. They knew what they were doing is wrong and now of these days it's getting easier to catch somebody doing things illegally .. I watched enough law & order to know there in very deep trouble. I'm shocked, shocked to find gambling going on in here.Only for the past 300 years. A lot of people are saying that Lori is practically done with Hallmark.

I don't think all the bribes in the world would have gotten Mirrorblade.1 into the shittiest community college.

Don’t worry, on cue STeVE was able to directly bring himself into all of this, replying to MikaelaAsperger:
Does anyone else see Lori crying because STeVE reassures the followers that she’s very nice BUT did a stupid thing?

You know, it really isn't that difficult to get into USC by legitimate means. And she forked over half a million for that? Seriously, her kid must be a bona fide, helmet-wearing retard if they are asking that much to allow the kid into General Studies with an eye to a major in Communications. I saw about 10 seconds of her talking on some video and I wanted to eliminate white people from the planet.

I look forward to the further development of this story, especially to finding out how many of the loudest voices in Hollywood for “social justice” will be doing hard time for social injustice. I think what he meant is how many of the celebs are going to say anything negative about this. Since some offer their opinions on everything and for some reason feel that their celeb status means it counts more than anybody else’s opinion Should be clouds over Hollywood. They love do as we say, not as we hid from you. Been a disastrous couple years for Tinseltown for sure. If nothing else comes from this latest spectacle, perhaps we'll hear less self-righteous finger-wagging about justice and privilege. Just kidding - that won't ever stop. I think this just tip of the ice berg. Tip of the proverbial iceberg. I’m thinking this is tip of the iceberg. Aunt Becky moves from "Fuller House" to the "Big House" The good news though...new series starring Felicity Hoffman called Desperate Inmates. Also Lori Laughlins latest staring vechicle Full Big House. Coming soon to a prison library near you. Now that Ms. Loughlin has been released on bail, I have heard that she has met with network executives, and they have discussed the creation of a new TV series, tentatively titled "Full Prison House." Lori is also out on bail and according to what I read, the judge will allow her to continue filming in Canada for Hallmark. I'm going to take the opposite side (just because I can, as the resident gadfly), and say that in some cases, I think the parents' intentions were good. Where I think it crossed the line into fraud was when you "paid a guy who knew a guy" who could change your SAT scores and then get you into a better college on that basis. What I think would be more tolerable would be if you had a wealthy family where the kid barely qualified or was on the edge of not getting in, and they could pay an additional fee -- say, twice the normal tuition -- and the college would let the child in on a conditional basis, provided their grades were decent. If they goofed off, didn't show up for class, failed classes, then they flunk out. Simple as that. Every other facet of wealth doesn’t have their platform I see this turning into a rich bashing and all people of wealth are jerks as so many want to paint Not everybody listens to talk radio. As for Hollywood elite, that's how they view themselves. It's THESE rich people gaming the system, not wealthy people gaming the system which makes it sound like they all do. It's also so obvious how bent so many on here have a problem with people that are rich. I know a truly surprising number of very wealthy people, and most of them are genuinely good people. Elitist hypocrites in Hollywood? Say it ain't so...

Is it any coincidence that the same people who think Lori Loughlin is a real celebrity with credibility are the same ones who think the same about STeVE?

This idea of rich people who lack proper credentials buying themselves into prestigious colleges reminds me of an orange-shaded mobster currently living in DC.

Vidiot is an expert on this. He did color timing on a Law & Order SVU episode that dealt with tax fraud.

Frank is dumb enough to think that if he works hard and stays focused, one day he'll be rich. Then he will get to buy his way out of legal problems, skip out on paying taxes and bend laws designed to help people that really need it get applies to him. He doesn't understand that he'll never be rich, and if he dies with anything left his kids will burn through it in a few months.
