My inside informant at Abby Rode tells me the guy who did the chirps was the same guy who did the "drrt-drrt" "drrt-drrt" "drrt-drrt" on Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey. But you didn't hear it from me.

How long before there’s a thread along the lines of “Who sang ‘butter pie’ in Uncle Albert?” so that someone can argue it wasn’t Linda.

Who played the chirps on "Muskrat Love"? Daryl Wilson.

I think you're conflating Dennis Wilson and Daryl Dragon. ...I'm ashamed that I even know the Captain's name. Daryl Dragon had a brother called Dennis who was a drummer. He and the eldest brother (Don, I think) who made a pretty funky drums and keys album called BFI in the late 60s as The Dragons which didn’t get released until 2006. Well, gee. You can tell I'm not catalog on the Dragons.

Amazing how easy it is to debunk his BS.

Oh. If I'm wrong, then fair enough, but I've always believed it was Dennis Dragon on that track. I don't know enough about drumming techniques to describe it, but he used to thrash his ride cymbal in a way Blaine rarely did. Whoever's playing on his brother's record plays the same way. Maybe they asked Blaine to emulate Dragon's style? Maybe I'm talking out of my arse?

Amazing how easy it is to debunk his BS. And yet the SHiTes still buy into the phony bullshit because it’s STeVE.

And I guess Wallachs charged 12 cents extra for the Tom Jones single because they had a giant stack of them a whole year before it was actuxally released. Neat!
Look pal, you weren’t there for the Welsh Invasion. If you’re gonna bullshit, you need to have a good memory. That’s our STeVE.

Best part of that threat is STeVF says he has no idea where that mono version came from and numerous people mention that Real Gone Music releases a mono singles comp a few years back mastered and oversaw by a forum member. Nothing, not even s thank you or ok or kiss my ass and go to hell from STeVE. Just crickets. That’s our STeVe.

It seems that in this interview, Hal was quite aware of playing on the track and even gives details of how it came about along with several other tracks he played on.
