Any product whose marketing fluff refers to a component being "nestled" in another component is clearly audiophool-quality product. Meaning, avoid it at all costs.
Any company that thinks a Hoofman quote is the way to move product is clearly a company that's circling the drain.
Maybe the SHites can keep them afloat for awhile, maybe not. Personally I don't give a flying fuck about Grado and their cocobolo-nestled stylus thingy.
Plus... "patented flux-bridger"? Give me a fucking break! What is this, Back to the Future? More like, back to the random-phrase generator -- and better luck next time.

Does the proprietary Kensei Audio Buttplug Enhancer™ count?
Is there any proof of its actual existence?

What about Knoll Laboratories? Does STeVE have an official Vicodin sponsorship?

The Audio Note UK thing really pisses me off. It’s bad enough that head shyster Peter Qvortrup ruthlessly ripped off his former employer (Hiroyasu Kondo), but he decided to wait until his death to talk shit about him. Major scumbaggery. And the Audio Note UK kool-aid is flowing freely over there these days (big surprise).

If we are talking former employers: S&P APO MCA Razor & Tie DCC
Does The Healing Disc™ & Grover count?
As for the Kensei Audio Buttplug Enhancer™ it was listed on eBay by the banned Jamie Tate if I recall correctly.

What is the name of the limo company that Hoofy drives for? That should be avoided as well.

Don't forget the time that Hoffman made his big announcement, bragging that he would be mastering all your favorite ancient Warner Bros. boomer rock for their spiffy new vinyl series called "Because Sound Matters." They kicked his ass off the project before the first release even came to market — probably because someone in the company had the realization that maybe they should instead hire someone who actually knows how to cut vinyl. He never mentioned anything about Warner or that vinyl series ever again. Tough shit, Mr. Bigshot. Lo, the ignominy. Heh! Did that campaign even last 6 months?

This just in. Let's add Hit Parade Records to the list. It appears someone "sent" STEVE some CDs featuring "true stereo" versions of well-known mono singles. There was already a discussion running about these releases in which it turned out that the tracks were processed by something known as DES. This seems to be an updated version of the old "electronically reprocessed for stereo" or Duophonic process. Someone posted the link to the on-going discussion under Daddy's poat. The poat with the link, plus the discussion itself were subsequently sent to the cornfield. It happened so quickly I was only able to make a screen grab of Daddy's original poat, which at this writing is still there, steaming it's smell of dung ever so sweetly.
