What the fuck is a “guitar swell”? It’s the things you hear near the end of Come Together. If it doesn’t sound like rfreeman, it’s not a guitar.

Come together.I did a comparison between this new mix and the AR Toshiba CD Black Triangle on headphones. The new mix is louder; drums sound artificial; the dynamics are absent. The Black triangle has more deepness because it's tonal musicality thanks to a harmonical blend of all it's elements: that's why it's sound is rich. It has the overall purpose to create a distinctive piece of sound to create a feel. The new mix is unemotional and develops fatigue. It's, to my ears a disjointed showcase to appreciate separate elements. As I said before in other post AR is, for me, a luminiscente serenade with a romantic, deliberate textured tone, not just a complex jigsaw of sounds. This album has colours difficult to mime. In vinyl I prefer the HTM 4/3 over the original 2/1 for tonal reasons.

Maccawings flexing his "insider" muscles:

But is it just Giles selecting the outtakes?
No, it’s a a group effort and of course the 4 families have power in the selections, a power that was yielded on this set
Then:

Can you tell us what songs were removed? Thanks
I know one of them and I know the one that returned from the abyss and who was the wielder I’ll wait until after the release to tell the story
But then:

Then Tony weighs in:
I'm also aware the selected songs on the set, as originally presented to the four families was much more comprehensive but met objections, primarily from one of the four. Surprised me who it was calling the shots.
Maccawings:
"Well by all means, if you are free to speak about it. I cannot yet. And it sounds like you might know the missing song titles that I do not know Tony LeMesmer

Don Starkey: Times have changed. It's not like the Old Days -- when we can release anything we want. A refusal is not the act of a friend. If Don McCartney had all the record labels, and the execs in the industry, then he must share them, or let us others use them. He must let us draw the water from the well. Certainly he can -- present a bill for such services; after all -- we are not ABKCO. Don Olivia: I also don't believe in outtakes. For years I paid my people extra so they wouldn't do that kind of business.Somebody comes to them and says, "I have demos; if you put up three, four thousand dollar investment -- we can make fifty thousand in box sets." So they can't resist. I want to control it as a business, to keep it respectable. I don't want it streaming -- I don't want it sold to children! That's an infamia. In my city, we would keep the traffic in the dark people -- the hip hop fans. They're animals anyway, so let them lose their souls... Don McCartney: I hoped that we would come here and reason together. And as a reasonable man I'm willing to do whatever's necessary to -- find a peaceful solution to these problems...
Don Starkey: Then we are agreed. The remixes will be permitted, but sound like shit -- and Don McCartney will accept the overdubs on The Long And Winding Road -- and there will be the peace.
