Brainwashed also knows:

Just plain wrong. There's no way John is on piano. For a long time I assumed George handled piano... he wrote the song on piano. He performed it nearly flawlessly during the Get Back sessions (even telling the others he'd have to learn it on guitar when Billy arrived) and of course plays it on the demo. Why wouldn't he play it on the studio version? It's Ringo on drums. Period. Ron

He has books you know:
Lewisohn makes no mention of Ringo filming that day. Nothing on the tape box indicating Paul on drums or John on piano. It would have been much easier if they included some dialogue or the breakdown of take 1. I find it incredulous that John is playing piano, or Paul is on drums. If all true I'll gladly donate a day's pay to Gile's charity of choice. Ron

Well Ron, just email Giles to confirm it:
RODNATION said: ↑ So your emailing him how?
I have his personal address because I've worked with some of his associates on other projects. We are NOT personal friends.

He still knows (according to The Book Of Lewisohn):
rick harper said: ↑ Seems I read Lennon played electric guitar on Old Brown Shoe but the track was replaced by organ. Maybe McCartney did some drum overdubs, but it's always good sloppy like Ringo...I get the drum parts of OBS and Jackie Lomax' 'Sour Milk Sea" mixed up...
Lewisohn says that John played rhythm guitar, not specified as acoustic or electric. Ron

I lyked Mike Haight's photo and now I'm blocked from viewing Hoofy's Facebook page, LOL. I wonder if he'll have a Gort do some detective work to find my account

That Mike Haight seems like a disturbed individual, wasting all that valuable bandwidth.

Is there any fucking music site MYKE has not infested? I don’t think that’s actually Myke on the SDE page. As an aside, I’m pretty certain that although he hasn’t said it, Paul (who runs SDE) loathes SHTV.

The fact the SHites are all getting their knickers in a twist about the new Abbey Road mix is going to let me enjoy it all that much more. overrated’s observation a few poats back in the thread is spot on.

I love how they still deem Giles Martin unqualified, despite the fact he had an 11 year career in music before he ever touched a Beatles tape.

Hoffman declared it a disaster, so you will probably hear even more complaining over there. A lot of them bailed on the 2009 remastered CDs when Hoffman refused to endorse them.

Poor STeVE....
Giles Martin has held Beatles’ master tapes in his hands, worked with them, and released popular remixes that get praise from nearly every non-SHite out there.
Giles regularly works in the most-famous recording studio in the world, and can (likely) be able to get in touch with Paul or Ringo any time he needs to run something past them.
STeVE’s face is pressed so hard up against the candy store window that the boogers up his nose are making a streaky mess of the glass...

Now their bitching about not getting there box on release day. This is the world they wanted, fuck the brick and mortar stores too expensive , I'll just order it online cheaper. In the old days you picked up the box at a physical store at your convenience. Now you wait for it from low paid don't give a fuck employees decide to ship it to you.

They're just insanely jealous. They say they hate his remixes, yet they keep buying them.
I listened to the Abbey Road remix today - it's great

When you’ve run out of things to bitch about, you argue about photo session dates.
They are completely insane.
Haven’t heard it all yet but gonna try for later today. Here Comes The Sun certainly sounds pretty damn good.

If anyone needs evidence on how much of a whiney man-child STEVE really is, this is the kind of release that shows it.
He probably can't even "just enjoy it" just due to his childish jealously which makes things even sweeter.

"Completists". Universal could release a Super Deluxe of Paul and John wacking off together and these idiots would have to buy it.
