Has Gorf Matt Lutthans dethroned STeVE as the go to Nat King Cole remasterbater??
“Co-produced by Zev Feldman, Will Friedwald, Seth Berg, Matt Lutthans, and Jordan Taylor, and executive produced by Resonance co-president George Klabin, Hittin’ the Ramp homes in on Cole’s prodigious early career, beginning with the debut sides he recorded with his brother Eddie for Decca Records as a 17-year-old piano phenom in 1936.”

Fantastic news! This will have him in knots (I can't wait for him to notice)! And it's not the first time a minion has surpassed his level of 'in-biz reverence', if I'm not mistaken. Heh.

When Matt started in “da biz” Hoofy never mentioned it, congratulated him or acknowledged it in anyway from what I recall. How long until STeVe “bumps” or “reopens by request” a thread that has to do with his Nat King Cole releases?

I thought about this too; surely he'll feign graciousness during Donation Time. But just this fucking once. (Actually I haven't even noticed friction between the two, as there sometimes can be with some experts (like lukepacs (sp? if not mistaken).)

He could talk about it.
But then he'd have to kill Matt.

Actually Steve and that AF boss of his (name?) were talking to Nat and laughing in his face about *using* his master tapes and then Nat slugged him. Punch line: Nat wasn't blind! Heh.
