SHiTes don't seem to understand that every artist - no matter how popular - fade. And that that's a GOOD thing. Any culture where 50-year-old pop music sounds *contemporary* is a culture that sucks. Like ours; right now. Absolutely that's a good thing. I listen to some newer music, not as much as I'd like to because I just don't have as much time, and I listen to older music. I'm older, and I just have more older records than newer ones. I was listening to Brownsville Station the other day, and I didn't get on SHtvand lament that I may have been the only person on the planet listening to them at that moment. I'd never expect someone younger to listen to them. It's dated and wasn't particularly popular or groundbreaking. It rightfully has faded mostly away. Everything should start to fade away, to make room for new things.

Young people probably get plenty of entertainment watching you through your windows furiously jamming on air guitar to Brownsville Station.

Yeah, I prefer to do it in my underwear with the windows open so that I give them the whole, "Fat Old Man Rocking Out" experience. Black socks, too. If I catch them looking, I try to educate them about analog and cutting engineers.
