People who get their climate denial science from anonymous accounts on YouTube, and who cause the scientific consensus of being a lie attack Greta because she is not a climate scientist. Irony is dying faster than this planet. The real reason all these boomers hate her, (aside from the fact that they are deathly allergic to hearing about how their consequences have actions,) is that Greta is a sixteen year old they don't want to fuck.

That thread is such a clusterfuck. A bunch of 60+ white dudes who don't believe in climate change but can hear profound differences in speaker cables. Assholes. This.

The only reason Dudfucker wasn't on ignore (until right now) is because he has admittedly good taste in music and is knowledgeable in those regards. Fuck this guy though, I can live without his bullshit.

As usual in these times, it's all or nothing, if you don't agree with me 100% you're the enemy. It is possible to believe in climate change , and still question what effect man has. It is possible to believe in climate change and question the "actions" being taken to curb it. It is possible to believe in climate change and question all the dooms day prophesies . It is possible to believe in climate change and question how so many businesses are getting rich on it. It is possible to believe in climate change and still find Greta an annoying little girl with a mental problem. That's a pretty low blow. Uncalled for. "Asperger's syndrome, OCD and selective mutism" Are these not problems? It may have been unnecessary, it may have been a put down, it was not "ill informed", it was accurate and true. She has mental health issues, known mental health issues, (if you prefer that word to problem), do you not think that is a valid point that should be made when people are holding her up a some sort of icon and leader? If one of your elected political leaders had those problems, you'd sure want to know about it, and you would rightly question his/her ability to be a leader, and make intelligent decisions etc. That was my point when I mentioned it originally. Is that right? She's a high school dropout? Then makes you wonder where she gets the money to travel abroad so frequently? What is it about this girl that has grown men shivering in fear? I'll have what she's having. It's one thing to have a discussion about facts. I had never watched any videos of this girl speak until just now. Having sat through my share of first-year acting students spewing Hamlet monologues, it was beyond awful. She is a weapon—someone to wheel out for full dramatic effect and shut down all rational debate. Dangerous IMO. I'm out. Last warning to avoid blantant politics. New Law Requires You To Listen To Greta Thunberg Lecture Before Purchasing Gasoline Dec 7th, San Francisco Chronicler U.S.—A series of new bills working their way through state legislatures in New York, California, Oregon, Hawaii, and several other progressive states will require you to listen to a Greta Thunberg lecture before purchasing gasoline. Motorists will be required to watch a 20-minute lecture by the 16-year-old climate activist before they purchase gallons and gallons of harmful fossil fuels. "We want to make sure drivers are informed," said California Governor Gavin Newsom, who says he will sign the bill into law. "So we are having them get lectured by a 16-year-old so they will have all the facts before they do something rash like put gasoline in their cars to go to work." Once the driver has listened to Thunberg's entire lecture, they will be prompted to complete a quick, fifteen-question quiz to show they understand how horrible they are for driving a car. Drivers who get at least 80% will then be allowed to refuel their vehicles. As they refuel, the screen will simply play a clip of Thunberg saying, "How dare you!" over and over again. The law will not apply to celebrities purchasing jet fuel or diesel fuel for their yachts. I was wondering when somebody was going to post the bad seed photo...hehehe. You stated that no "serious" scientist disagrees with the theory that the rising Co2 levels are primarily from human activity. I remember reading a list of around 100 scientists that do not agree that the rising levels are primarily from human activity. I could try to find the list but for the sake of argument, what do mean by saying they are not "serious"? The person in question has no scientific, educational, expertise or other credentials to have the status given to her by this magazine. In essence it is then only meant as propaganda and purely political. When will she be going to China who is the biggest polluter of the world? I find this forum will allow some obvious political topics to continue but if I brought up the second amendment, FISA Court abuses or Impeachment...those threads would most likely be "terminated with extreme prejudice" I personally have no idea why this thread was allowed to even exist here. But, it's the moderators world and we're just living in it. Regardless, several people on this thread I've taken a giant dislike to, simply because their political opinion is so different than mine. One of the reasons we don't allow this type of thing here, can't help but have the feelings spill over to the music section. But, hey, we know who to avoid now. :^) Just kidding, but seriously folks, this type of thread is truly poison here. I've asked the mods to wipe it. See you on Twitter. I can never figure out why people on the right are such climate change pooh pooh-ers. Do they own coal mines? Are they captains of industry and stand to lose a fortune if strict pollution regulations are put in place? No, they are just anti-science. Like it's the in thing now or something. I've just read Stefan Zwieg's "The World Of Yesterday." So depressing, it's all happening again. Like a cycle of sh** that repeats and repeats down through the ages. That being said, at least here in California we stand a chance..

Does Hoffman not see all of the other threads infected with Nazi crap? Is he unaware of the actual card carrying nazi members of his forum?

Steve's not exactly wrong. Well, about this, anyway. Once again, we see the righty-uptighties' heads explode. And then, on chapter 1, page 3 of the Trumptard Playbook, bring celebrities/actors (liberal ONLY!) into the conversation.
They've got ALL the answers. If only someone would ask them!

Looking quite intense in AustraliaThe fires are now known to have been set by people...Lots of people...People working together...How will that change your disaster perspective? Its not rocket science to acknowledge that while there is global warming that needs to be addressed there is also an arson - or reckless burning - problem exploited by alarmists. Or even propogated by them. One authority there said that of the arrests made so far ,those are just the ones caught, and its very hard to catch them. And its hard to prove that people who intentionally throw lit material like cigarettes into brush, or 'accidentally' leave a camp fire burning, was a case arson. Sad thing is that some arsonists are smart enough to mask their crime.

Even if it were true (it's not) that every single fire down there was started intentionally, the reason it's gotten this bad is the sheer incompetence and/or straight up evil of aussie right wing politicians.
So either way, the boomer fash brigade over at SHitville are making complete asses of themselves. Again.

Yeah the punishing heat and drought have nothing to do with it, either.

Yeah the punishing heat and drought have nothing to do with it, either. Ah see, that's it. If it wasn't for climate change, these fires wouldn't have become the fucking apocalyptic nightmares that they are. Along with what I'm Not Gay said (which is also the reason we wind up with these conditions.)
But hey, when we get sick with a virus, what do we do? That's right, we get a fever. Guess what? Old planet earth has a fever too. She's trying to kill us off.

Never mind about Ringo and Macca, the death of Rupert Murdoch is reason enough to look forward to the near-future.

I guess it just goes to show ya... If the global pandemic don't get ya, the global climate change will... :ignore: This entirely new phenomenon of lightning during summer storms is troubling.
