This guy is a puke. Apparently he worked for his uncle and is now laid off so he can go back to having sex now. Plus he must be getting some action and no longer celibate as he has changed his quote to declare he is not a troll. Carl Swanson: John Morris: Carl Swanson: John Morris;

Ugh don’t say that. We already had a fucking incel kill a bunch of people by driving a van down a busy sidewalk last year.

John Morris claims to work at a studio that belongs to his uncle called Seven Nations Studio in Newmarket, Ontario. Oh, yeah, he also claims that he was recently laid off, and that the reason he had to stop listing his name on releases is because of harassment by disgruntled fans saying his mastering ruined their favorite albums. (Natch.) The only problem is that the Google results for "Seven Nations Studio" anywhere in fucking Canada only brings up the two or three times John Morris has mentioned it at SH.tv. Not one single mention of the studio or John Morris's work anywhere in all of Discogs, nothing anywhere else in the cyber universe, nada. The guy is full of shit. Yeah. Leaving aside the remote possibility that his work is consumed exclusively by people who don’t have the internet, the (excerpt of a) post below suggests either a bullshitter of the highest order, or a really good troll. forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/abbey-road-50th-anniversary-discussion-what-can-we-expect.777492/page-153

Dude's a troll. No Bald Eagles fusion band either, (lots of Eagles cover bands,) plus he's getting cutesy with the Bradley Cooper signature. The real Bradley Cooper is a Philly Eagles fan though.

This is so reminiscent of good ol' Kent Teffeteller:
I have been very tired over the last few days and I probably mixed everyone's posts up. I must have seen bizzare. Did not realize you were in the business of designing. Or maybe you did but I missed it.
Well said . No argument there. I will let my Uncle speak as my views here (by some) are not considered valued. So reply is not possible. He is too busy and isn't even a member.
"....Hello people. My name is Stephen Jack Morris I have been working in one way or the other in the mixing /mastering field since 1968. I used to cut records for RCA back in the 70's. It is good to know that DAC development has not stood still. Question Mr. Elk: We need at least 62 channels of A/D conversion. How much would such a converter cost that you are talking about in your post? I think it is time for an upgrade at some point. I am very impressed by your story. Since you are a DAC designer I trust what you say. My nephew although well meaning does not speak anymore for Seven Nations Studio. And I am not him. Please excuse his vigor and vim. But as you know they are a lot of as you say "armchair audiophiles" (not you of course) but some have some funny beliefs.
As regards to the factory CD not sounding exactly like the master 16/44.1 file it is strange yes. I have made calls. I have gone down to the plants myself. And all they can say is, "They don't know." This is not something you would hear on monitors . It is when you put on mastering grade headphones (I won't say reference Mr. Elk ) that you notice the soundstage is reduced. Most people would not hear it. This is a known phenomenon in the industry. Less so then say 25 years ago but it does happen. But many of us have come to expect it. Keep in mind many engineers will deny that this happens. The math does not add up as you say. Again, not always but sometimes. Again my nephew over states the problem. But we are working with the CD plants to fix whatever the problem is
Any information you can send me. Or perhaps a link would appreciated. Thank you again for your time. ..
MrRom92: Out of curiosity, do you have any links to Seven Nations Studio or any of the mastering jobs you’ve previously been credited on? You speak very highly of the studio and the work you’ve performed there during your career, but I haven’t been able to find any references to the studio online or any albums credited to the studio on Discogs.
Have Kent McLovinteller and John Morris ever been seen together?

Could you ever envision in your wildest dreams a situation where you would have to ask your uncle to compose a message to some internet forum asking for forgiveness of your "vim and vigor"? Oh, and reply is not possible. He is too busy and isn't even a member. And my links aren't working for his studio. It's because I'm tired. Now, back to my battle of wits with Tim Lookingbill.
Oh, and this.

'It wouldn't be a good idea for my face to grace the cover of MIX magazine...'
I can't disagree.
