Just a thought. STeVE produces fat, overly warm mastering's that are rolled off on top and favour warmth over transparency. Right? And Neil Young sings in a whiny nasal high pitched manner that's incredibly annoying. Maybe the collaboration of Neil and STeVE will produce a Neil Young album that is finally listenable after all these years. Maybe not. He fucks up the midrange with valve amplification too. So scrub that thought.

Neil might be getting old but he can still hear and is of sound mind. As long as that is the case The Huff will never get anywhere Neil's stuff. I'm surprised The Huff hasn't bought a Neil CD at a flea market and redisaster it from that claiming he had access to the original master
