I work with soda. All flavors ultimately run through the same pipes. Even when we go from the most viscous flavor to pure seltzer water, it takes about a half hour to rinse out. (Going from a sugar to sugar-free product can also take about as long.)
Does STeVE think they have to actually open the pipe and scrub it with brushes or something?

Just asked someone who works at a pressing plant in Memphis what the deal is. Stay tuned...... Tommyboy’s going to write a poat bitching about how you didn’t contact RTI.

This shit is Manufacturing 101. Of course a trust fund douche who’s never actually worked a day in his life wouldn’t understand that.

My favourite part is that Patrick is probably the biggest music geek in the world, and he said "whoever wrote that". I thought everyone knew who Steve was?

Uh oh... STeVE is gonna get pissy about this thread title: Why is Pepper described as dated on here but not the White Album? And, right on cue: Art Pepper will never be dated. Can a moderator please fix the thread title? Neither will Angie Dickinson, STeVE. Why not reference her the next time you want to make a lame reference nobody under 60 is gonna get. (Psst... Someone better tell Karla that STeVE’s Depends need to be changed.)

"gah, my forum is so disrespectful! If only there was some way I could fix that. Alas, I, poor STeVE, am utterly powerless from removing the nazis from my board. Anyway, it's DONATION TIME." It's not even that in this case.. Most of the posts he quotes there were the opposite. His whole thing is it's disrespectful to even talk about politics at all. You're just supposed to say "RIP nice lady" and not mention McConnell and the enormous and terrifying implications of her death...etc. He's an idiot.

Somebody obviously didn’t drink the “Steve’s Pet Sounds” remaster is the best ever”:
After doing a direct comparison, with headphones, of some of the best digital mono Pet Sounds releases I feel like the 2016 Capital 50th Anniversary release was the winner when compared to the DCC and Audio Fidelity versions mastered by our host.
The 2016 Capitol is the first and only digital mono Pet Sounds sourced from the 1972 Brother Records source and sounds more clear and detailed compared to the DCC and Audio Fidelity. I believe that Steve did an amazing job on the DCC with the source he was provided but I feel that the 1972 Brother Records source is superior and therefore in my eyes the 2016 Capitol sounds better. The DCC sounds a little darker and veiled compared to the 2016. I would love to hear what Steve could do with the Brother source.
Thoughts? Opinions?
Also, I didn't compare it to the Analogue Productions mono SACD because I don't have that one. DotKom11, Jul 12, 2018 #1
